A website has one price with GBP symbol (but in AUD) while rest of page is in AUD.
The website << https://www.tasmap.tas.gov.au/do/product/50K%20Paper/TQ08 >> has the first price in GBP (for the map in question) while rest of page shows AUD (note the price differential has nothing to do with exchange rates, it's a symbol issue). I've contacted them and they say it's a problem with my browser and to try another one, so I tried Internet Explorer and it shows the correct symbol, so yes it IS a Firefox problem. I only have this problem on this particular website so what to do? Is it a Firefox issue or is it just me?

What you see as the symbol of the first price seems to depend on the order of the installed languages, so the server seems to parse the accept-language field in the HTTP request header.
- Tools > Options > Content > Languages
If I set plain [en] as the first language then the page takes a long time to load and doesn't show a valid currency symbol. This symbol shows in the page code, so must be send by the server. It works properly with [en-US] as the first language, but others I tried show a question mark. You need to clear the cookies of the site after changing the language order.
You can inspect the cookies for the domain in the currently selected tab:
- Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
- Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected

Thank you for the fix, I tried en-au to start with (as I'm in Australia) and it worked fine first go. If it mucks up again I'll try the us one.
