My computer came with pre-installed windows 11. Following recent upgrades to Mozilla browser it is asking questions re functioning of this browser. Why?

Thunderbird did update while Thunderbird was running. Notice no new emails a few hours later. Icon changed to text picture and all folders showing. Received request if I wanted text icon removed? Said yes. Everything gone. Went to program file, x86 file and only file in Thunderbird visable last nigher were update logs. Now gone, everything in Mozilla maintenance folders gone.
Appdata shows 8/10 profile. Mobile email link to Thunderbird down, not receiving.
