i have saved initial searches i did in firefox as bookmarks in the bar under the search bar. i have now setup a seaparate bookmark folder to save these website bookmarked links into. if i reopen each of the initial bookmarks and save the link using the blue star process into the new bookmark folder i created, will that link become permanent? and can i then delete the initial links that sit on my firefox under the address bar and the newly saved links in the new bookmarks folder be still available?

All of a sudden I cannot save bookmarks. Neither the instruction "To bookmark a page, just click on the star in the address bar." or using the "Bookmark Current tab..." in the Bookmarks menu do anything. Trying either method just sits there and does nothing.

When backing up bookmarks to HTML - HTML Back-Up does not include the TOOLBAR Bookmarks. Please advise how to include the toolbar bookmarks in HTML format. Thank you.

It's been a number of updates now that bookmark keywords have stopped working on iOS. Typing a keyword in the address bar just calls the default search engine for that word instead of opening the bookmark directly. When will this bug be fixed?

I have lost my Bookmarks toolbar. It is present in Manage Bookmarks but the toolbar appears blank, with no icons, on the main page.

I have gone thro all the advice here to no effect.

This is unbelievable ! I posted this again in response to somebody not being able to comprehend, "Bookmark Spacing Vertical Intervals Not Optimized". What the Hell else do I need to add to clarify that ? You don't want, can't or refuse to answer -- I get that. But DO NOT rope-a-dope me be typing it's not clear or you don't comprehend what, Bookmark Spacing Vertical Intervals Not Optimized means. It is a clear, concise description of an IT problem. I have zero clue how to describe it any other way. This is flabbergasting -- it is a well-known problem but all the solutions offered I have seen are garbage. Am wasting huge amounts of time and money, neighbor ! I can't submit a bill for all this runaround !

Hi. The message "For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. Manage bookmarks..." has appeared at the top of my Firefox window. I don't think it's been there for more than a couple of days, so it must have been added by a recent update. I already have my bookmarks available just fine, so is there a way to get rid of the message? Thanks!

There is a section called "Recent bookmarks", which appears after clicking on the 'Bookmarks' button in the browser sidebar. My problem with it is that it appears automatically, and it cannot be hidden, removed, or minimized; and shows all the recent bookmarks saved or imported to firefox. I feel very uncomfortable using the browser with such a feature. I would tell you that I switched to Firefox from Apple's Safari browser; and one of the reasons for such move was this same problem in that browser. I'm using the latest version of firefox browser v 152.0.5 (64-bit), on macbook pro m4 running latest macOS. Please help if you can how to either hide or remove the "Recent bookmarks" or please consider adding the capability for the user to do so, in the next browser update.
