once again, you change shit whether people like it or not... when I open firefox in private mode, the default opening tab is "about:privatebrowsing"... I have no fucking need of this tab - does anyone??? please provide step-by-step instructions as to how to eliminate this useless piece of shit...

Suddenly, I have problems with new tabs. I have FF 159.0 and Windows 11, and the latest version of New Tab Override. Still, no matter what I do (and I have tried a lot), having set New Tab to be Google Search (https://www.google.com), when I click new tab or deleting last tab, I get my last search screen, not Google Search.. It worked like a charm two days ago..

Please, anyone, what the heck have i done?

Most up to date firefox version, on new page i try to customise using the customise pencil icon, i try to change image to jpg files image or firefox own wallpapers and it won't work; themes of top bar are working. Not tried changing with theme (i.e. wallpaper theme), but presume that may work, also i tried undoing the themes and contrast stuff as mentioned online, but still not working and I also tried restarting firefox, but still same issue.

This bug started after update from 158.0.1 to 159... I've changed nothing between... At first launch my speed dial/home page (about:home) starts normally. But if i open a new tab it is just blank. No speed dial, no icons... Nothing. I tried Troubleshoot Mode but it didn't solve the problem.

On my Firefox Home Page, I selected two rows of PINNED shortcuts. Each time I open a webpage that webpage is added not only to the two selected rows of shortcuts, but "keeps" EVERY webpage selected after filling the two selected shortcut rows. It is not only annoying and inconvenient, but s l o w s work time to a crawl around these shortcuts ... few, if any, are helpful. If I want to re-entry an UNPINNED shortcuts, I go to history and select the one I want. WHEN is Fire Fox to solve this seemingly simple but annoying problem?

I no longer have the shortcuts available when I open the firefox browser. I would like to have that again but don't know how to do it. I have tried googling it but I can't get past the Settings link--Home and start up

what happened to the add (+) button next to shortcuts? Now , you must select "Add a Shortcut" from another shortcut ... improving Firefox, hardly! So, now, I have to become a "geek" to add the button back ... was the button hurting someone or not aesthetically pleasing ??? Firefox can no longer claim to be "user friendly" ... too many convenient "pluses" have been torched and, in its place, a DIY solution ... WAKE UP! ... loyal Firefox users will be deserting the ship as YOU put more holes in the hull ...

When clicking on a link to a story in Ten Tabs, many times the link leads to a site with a paywall. It is not because I have reached the maximum amount of stories read on the site.

How can I make when I'm opening empty tab, it's hidden until I open link in it? On firefox, when I'm clicking "+" button, I'm opening empty tab where I can choose sites to open, but I need to hide this empty tab until I search something or open link in it. There's screenshot of another browser where how I need to be.

PC is using Windows 10. My software is up to date. Chrome and other browsers do not show any issues when browsing. I have reinstalled Firefox. My Firefox app works fine on my Android mobile. I have also set up a new profile in Firefox.

Hello. I am using Firefox on both Windows 10 and MX Linux, and I noticed a difference in how the New Tab page displays shortcuts. Even though both browsers are set to display 2 Rows in the Home settings, Firefox on Windows displays 10 shortcuts per row (20 in total), whereas Firefox on MX Linux only displays 8 shortcuts per row (16 in total), details in attached screenshots. Could someone explains why there are differents like that? Was it because the different between OS or Firefox versions (both was updated to lastest version)? Thank you.

I have a Mini PC connected to my TV. I use the Top Sites shortcut feature to remind me of which TV shows I'm streaming. Each time I complete an episode, I edit the Top Site and change the URL to the next episode, so that, when I come back and hit the shortcut -- it keeps my place in the series.

This all worked perfectly until the recent Windows desktop build of 157.0.1. Now, when I edit the shortcut and click save, it doesn't Save the edit. Instead -- it creates a duplicate shortcut in my bottom row.

It doesn't matter which Top Site I edit -- they all do it.

Can anyone duplicate this bug?

I already tried everything, but those shortcuts keep appearing. Also, after restarting Firefox, new shortcuts to Wikipedia and Reddit appear. Can someone help me turn this off?
