Have been a FireFox user for a dang long time, like over 20 yrs I think, but this is getting out of control what is going on with the browser!~

 They First removed all the Un-Used short-cut tabs an left us with one over a year ago, then they forced it to the end a few months ago!~

Now they moved the Short-cuts up higher without even giving us the chance to lower them back down to better eye level, an the purple ring around them is not a good look either!~

 I know this browser is free to use, but still it's like the government forcing things onto us without even the ability to say anything, you want people to be happy using ya Internet Browser, but never ask ppl their opinions on anything you do!~

 What is it the PUBLIC can do to get this to stop or atleast be asked before anything is added so that way you do not end up loosing more users to goofle or other browsers like Internet Explorer??~~

I tried to remove the new 'profile'. I don't want it. now ALL my data, settings & bookmarks are GONE ! Help me revert to & restore the previous account settings !!!!!

I'm signed in, firefox updated telling me all about the beta, I can turn on the VPN, however the VPN will not connect to any website I attempt to go to.

It's a feature I really want to use, and started using my firefox account for it. Do you have any recommendations?

I am getting a message that secure connection failed, it is happening for Amazon.com and maybe netflix as I can't log on or access the sites

Halfway through today I'm unableto access three sites which I use regularly.using a VPN: 1337X.TO EZTVX.TO THEPIRATEBAY.ORG

Getting the error message:

An error occurred during a connection to thepiratebay.org. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

I am able to access THEPIRATEBAY.ORG with Opera <ptooh> so the site itself obviously doesn't have a problem.

I've tried changng my VPN location from the UK to Amsterdam, NL and to Washington, USA but none of those locations have helped.

My wife needsher daily fix of American soaps and Police dramas which never get to us here in the UK

How can I get around this, I really don't want to go down the TOR route unless I absolutely have to.

Hello brothers and sisters, i am need help! I'm experiencing performance issues when surfing the 9GAG website. The amount of RAM consumed by this page is growing exponentially. It's gotten to the point where this tab can consume up to 5GB of memory, and that's not the limit. This issue hasn't happened before. I can't figure out what's causing it.

What I did to fix the problem: I reinstalled the browser. I reinstalled add-ons. I reset my old profile, saving only bookmarks and passwords. I reinstalled the operating system. None of this helped. However, my friends don't have this problem with this site. Please help.

I'm unable to download any of my Intel updates. I've turned everything off that I know could be blocking it and authorized Intel as a safe download. I don't know what else I can do please help. Google states that I should be able to go to the shield and the address bar and turn off the enhanced tracking protection however it will not allow. I've gone to the settings page and set it to custom as well as clear all check marks in that setting. Still nothing will not allow me to download my updates for my Intel drivers. Please help

Using firefox 140.6.0esr on Windows 10 with noScript and uBlock Origin

Infrastructure for my health insurance provider website uses a self-signed certificate. The infra has a different URL from the main page and was initially failing with "CORS failed", which turned out to be the cert issue.

I copied the infra URL from the dev tools network log and opened it directly, and accepted the invalid cert. I can see the new exception in cert_override.txt.

Then, after unblocking the site in uBlock origin, POST and GET requests to the infra URL succeed, but OPTIONS requests are still failing with "CORS failed", and security status "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER"

Is there anything else I can do so the OPTIONS request honors the exception in cert_override.txt?

I get REAL tired by the amount of resources Firefox eats up with each open window. For whatever reason, having multiple windows open prevents Facebook from loading. I'll get 1 story and a "shorts" bar but THAT'S IT. Even clicking the story to rate or comment does nothing. If I start to delete windows; it will decrease the memory usage and then it will open.

However, I DO NOT WANT TO CLOSE MY WINDOWS IN ORDER TO OPEN FACEBOOK! Firefox should not be eating up that many resources. The open windows are of text and/or picture archives. There is no sound or video playing in the multiple windows open. My system literally has 128 gigs of ram memory so it seems very odd to me that Firefox is using between 11-13% with nothing running in the 15 windows I have open.

Running v150.0.3 on a Windows 10 PC. I have (HAD) 5 windows open with about a dozen tabs in each one. Just realized that one of the windows is gone! Every time I startup Firefox, I always allow it to automatically update the version. I have a bad feeling this missing window issue happened during the most recent update (last week?).

Has anyone ever experienced this issue or have any ideas how this could have happened? Any chance of recovering that window? I have weekly backups of the SSD containing all my Mozilla files & folders (Firefox and Thunderbird).

In the menu for choosing which tab to add to a split view, tabs with the name/link of the original do not show up. I would like this fixed, although this is really only a minor inconvenience when duplicating a tab to put it into split view.

So before few days firefox decided to automaticly update. after thet no pasword was saved in system. undery system data 2 files: logins.json-1.corrupt/json-2.corrupt without any data in files (but size is 130KB). i need these logins ASAP.

The regular version of the browser is open with a bunch of pinned tabs and a private version. And!!! If you close the REGULAR version , but DO NOT close the PRIVATE one before that, then when you try to reopen the REGULAR one, ALL OPEN WINDOWS AND TABS will BE DELETED!!! WHY?!?!

And these tabs are not saved in history, because they WERE NOT active in this session!

Where do developers' hands grow from?! Well, this glitch was a couple of years ago! But now?! A month of work preparation went to hell because of Firefox failure... How do I restore tabs that were just blown away by the browser?

bold text I have been haveing trouble with my Spectrum email account (mail.twc.com)) Today I talked to a tech and she said they no longer are compatible with Spectrum. You log in and it says feature unavailable. They suggest using Google. I hate Google. It is just one giant ad machine. Their email is barely tolerable. They also said the reason they haven't fixed the issue is because they say Google is going away soon.
