Galaxy Note 3. Firefox is up to date. Real Player isn't installed.

YouTube won't play videos. Alls I get when I click on the play button, is a black screen.

I attempted to update flash, but Adobe says that Flash is not available for my Android device.?

When searching for 'flash' or 'flash player' via Mozilla Add-ons, there are no results.

How to fix? Thanks

YouTube videos should open the YouTube app, if you are talking about youtube.com

Hello silent_bob_2002,

Thanks for posting your problem to the Mozilla Forums.

Your problem is in regards to YouTube videos not loading using Firefox Android. You have not told me if you receive any error messages, or if there is still sound that plays without video.

Can you please follow this link https://www.youtube.com/html5 and enable YouTube HTML5 Beta and try and watch a video again to see if this solves your issue.

If this doesn't help, please post back and I can attempt to assist you further.

No sound plays. No error messages either. Just a black screen once I hit the play button.

Update: The videos play fine if I load the desktop version of YouTube .

Ah, that makes sense. . I disabled the YouTube app when I got the phone. That also explains why the desktop version works fine. YouTube seems to have saved the setting to load the desktop view by default, so all is well here. Thank you for your comments.
