The horizontal scroll bar was there yesterday but it is gone today. I have MSN.com for my homepage. I do not have any extras on my Fitefox.

Is the page fitting correctly on your monitor? There might not be any need for the horizontal scroll-bar due to some changes to the width that Firefox now covers on it?

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
