Firefox 5 will not download pdfs on financial sites such as Chase, Suntrust, Blue Cross.

Since I downloaded Firefox 5, I have been unable to either download or pull up PDF's on the sites I normally use such as Chase and Suntrust. When I click on a pdf icon, the window appears but nothing will load. I then have to go to those sites using Safari to get these pdfs. I prefer Firefox and would like to use it for everything as I have in the past. I have a 2008 iMac running Snow Leopard. No problems getting pdfs prior to downloading and installing Firefox 5.

Check in Preferences > Applications to make sure that you have an application set up to handle .pdf files. If not, select Use other and browse to where one is installed and select it.
