Firefox is not opening and the solutions suggested on the support site are not the problem.

Firefox appears to start opening but then it stops. It does not show that it is running in the Task Manager and there are no extensions from Norton or Skype on the list. The hard drive light on my computer shows that the hard drive is active. When I go to restart, it pops up a screen that says it has to shut down Firefox.

After I rebooted, I was able to open Firefox.
