This really annoying popup is a newer feature in Firefox iOS and it's very irritating because there doesn't seem to be any toggle to turn it off. If I close a tab I very consciously closed the tab, I don't need the popup to prompt me to reopen it. The popup also blocks the bottom nav menu in the app so you have to wait 1-2 seconds for the popup to go away before you can use the nav menu. Please make it possible to remove this firefox popup.

Hey there! Totally get your frustration with that popup – it can be a bit of a bother. Here's what you can do: Open up Firefox on your iOS device and type "about:config" in the address bar. Then search for "browser.tabs.undoCloseTab.enabled" and toggle it to "false." This should do the trick and get rid of that popup for you. If you run into any issues, just give a shout.

There is no about:config on iOS version of Firefox.

As above says, if you type "about:config" into the Firefox iOS browser you just get an empty white page. Unfortunately, it seems like there won't be a manual fix for this until a future update.
