lost tabs
I had a crash and the file for about:profiles is not there. It lists a possibility but it says it cannot locate the file (duh). I have a lot of tabs and I need them back. I look in the file locations and other than what the blank profile it is setting up there is only one from about two months ago in local and nothing old in roaming. When I use space sniffer it shows a large file size for what it is using for the current empty default file. It seems like the tabs are there but it is not accessing them. Any way to access those or the files if nothing else? I would rather not just use scrounger at this point unless absolutely necessary. It seems like firefox should have a default to save more than just one recent backup and it would help a lot with this kind of messup. Thanks for any ideas.

And to add, this did not delete my bookmarks. It restarted all of those just fine, so it must have tried to restart the original session. I cannot get the large profile to work on another pc by setting up another account. It says it can't find the file. Maybe I am doing something wrong with that. When I look at the history it looks like everything I have opened for a long time are there. Seems like no option to open those all and it would probably be a disaster anyway as there are hundreds and hundreds of pages that were open and closed and I don't need those. Any way to just get what I had as tabs back? If nothing else maybe I can do the backup to history so at least I may have a lifetime to find things as I need them back. What a disaster.
When I open the profile folder that seems to large to be my current basic session it has a cache folder. In that under 'entries' it is large, 1GB. This seems to maybe be the tab list. I am hoping to fix this and not just do the scrounger although that will be something I will likely be doing later on anyway. If I have to do that now can this file be used to come up with a web address list?
