Wordle showing blank screen since I updated Firefox yesterday

On Android, the page https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html is showing as a blank screen since I updated Firefox yesterday.

On a private tab it shows correctly but I would rather not lose my statistics. I haven't tried deleting cookies on that site in case it deletes my statistics. I found a reddit thread from a couple of months ago that suggests deleting specific cookies but I don't know which ones or how, or if that is different from deleting "all cookies and site data" for the nytimes website, which I haven't wanted to risk doing yet. I've tried turning "enhanced tracking protection" on and off but it changes nothing.

Any help appreciated.

Hello WordleHelp, Regarding the Wordle statistics data, I found several websites that mention that Wordle saves that data in the browser's local storage, so strictly just clearing the cookies should still keep your statistics data. (In theory)

In my case, I went to the Wordle page, answered today's word, and went to delete the cookies through the following steps: Settings -> Delete browsing data -> only selecting the cookies checkbox and unchecking all other checkboxes -> delete browsing data In the above case, the statistics data is still being stored even after a page refresh.

However, if the "browsing history and site data" checkbox is checked when trying to delete browsing data, the statistics data will be wiped out, so keep that in mind!

Hope it helps!

Thank you! I have tried that, but unfortunately I still have the blank screen :-( although this time it is asking me to accept/reject 'your tracker settings' (cookies etc).

Anyway I went ahead and deleted everything except 'browsing history and site data' in case any of those separately did the trick - they didn't. So I went to the Wordle webpage and cleared cookies and site data for the site. Wordle now works OK but I have lost my precious data. Though since I had my first Wordle fail a few days ago, I'm less bothered as my streak was broken (at about 106!)

I'm glad that the issue has finally been resolved! Also, very impressive streak! Hopefully you can reach even longer streaks in the future and that such issues never arise again!
