FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE TURN OFF SAVING LOGIN AND PASSWORDS - THERE IS NO OPTION!
I AM BEGGING - BEGGING THE CONTRIBUTORS TO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WRITE IN AN OPTION SO I CAN TURN OFF PASSWORD MANAGER FOR GOOD.
I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS NEW FEATURE! THE DAMN KEY IN THE SEARCH BAR SAVING ALL MY PASSWORDS IS A NUISANCE. I HAVE TO CLEAR IT EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE THE BROWSER. I AM GOING TO MOVE TO ANOTHER BROWSER UNTIL THIS ANNOYING FEATURE IS ABLE TO BE TURNED OFF.
DO YOU WANT HACKERS TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS OUR PASSWORDS BY AN ACCIDENTAL SAVE??????
WHY CAN'T THIS BE FIXED???? IT IS NOT USEFUL AT ALL. LET US HAVE THE OPTION TO TURN IT COMPLETELY OFF SO IT WILL NEVER ASK AGAIN TO SAVE A PASSWORD.

Actually by default it doesn't save login/pswd. That must be switched on by the user. So you need to check your settings.
Hi merlin11, please turn off your CAPS LOCK key.
And then, call up the Preferences page:
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
In the tiny search box near the top of the page, type login and Firefox should filter to the "Logins and Passwords" section.
Un-check the box for "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites"

What key icon do you mean with "the damn key in the search bar saving all my passwords" ?
