Why can't you guys get it right?

Why can't you guys get it right? I can't believe how often Firefox doesn't work when other browsers do? I wouldn't use a Firefox operating system based on your browser that's for damn sure!

Half the links on NBC are dead unless you hold control key and click link? You guys really suck at what you do and wish you would fire people and hire people that are competent???

Is it okay if, before answering your question, I have a little fun with you?

You're back? I thought after this you were done with Firefox (Nov. 4, 2014):

Firefox truly sucks and I'm embarrassed to have recommended it to friends and family and will never recommend or use it myself ever again, I'm so done with this now s**t browser!

Anyway, as you know, the support volunteers here on the forum may be able to help you with Firefox issues, but we aren't the actual developers and we don't make HR decisions.

Links on NBC.com

I see what you mean about NBC. For example, there is a link at the top of the page for EPISODES which leads to the URL http://www.nbc.com/video. The interesting thing you probably don't realize about this link is that your click is intercepted by a tracking script. When I check the Web Console (one of the developer tools), I can see the script is halting on an error. This actually is my own doing because I use the NoScript extension to manage JavaScript permissions on a site-by-site basis. If I unblock enough third party script sources, the script will run as designed and the link will work.

Can you think of any anti-tracking or script blocking features you might be using in your Firefox? These could include extensions like NoScript, Blur, or Disconnect, or Firefox's built-in Tracking Protection feature which is enabled by default in Private Browsing windows (see: What happened to Tracking Protection?). If you are using any of those features, you could try making an exception for this page to see whether that allows the links to work for you.

If you do not find another workaround or solution, an alternate way to load a link like this -- in the same tab -- is to drag and drop the link onto the address bar.

Edit: Adding screenshot.
