Why won't clear data work.
I have been a faithful user of Firefox and have never had an issue till now. I have always used clear data to wipe history. I know the procedure and how to do it. Just recently it has stopped working. It used to clear all data as it is called. Now after it gives me the "data cleared" signal, everything is still there. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but it made no difference. What should I do? Thank you.

Is this the problem:
After using Clear Private Data with History checked: When you go to the home tab and slide to History, all the entries are still there?
A user reported that this can be caused by turning on one of the hidden Android Developer settings. Here's where you would turn that off:
Android menu > Settings > Developer options
Then uncheck "Don't keep activities"
