What does mail stored in the cloud have to do with Thunderbird? It's profile and all mail are stored on the local hard disk, not in the cloud.

Of course doesn't not have anything to do. Was just an additional information maybe the problem is with Microsoft account may be not. Anyway my folders became very big since I have re installed Thunderbird after I have changed HD with SSD reinstalling OS. I have just copied the folder Thunderbird in appdata /roaming and everything seems to work fine. Now the biggest folder (less than 1 Gb) become 2,1 GB and also the others folders became bigger. Thats happen to Microsoft account that I use to archive all the important mails coming from different accounts in a way to read them from any PC. May be the second PC I have (very old one), can influence the first one? Even the second PC has the folders bigger and bigger. On the second PC the dimension of different folder are very differents. How is it possible? Someone bigger some others smallers.

Even a folder that I have stored 1 years ago now in my new PC is updated up today. How is it possible if I've never changed the contents of it?
