‘having lost my password for Thunderbird, is there any way that I can create a new one? My Thunderbird has not retained my old password. Please help as I prefer Thunderbird to other systems.’

I have a folder, called "important" showing up in my list of folders and it annoys me that some emails it contains never made it to my Inbox. Why does this folder exist and how can I get rid of it?

about middle last week started receiving error message: An error occurred while sending email. The mail server responded <handejel@triad.rr.com> sender rejected. The email address you are sending as must match the mail address you used to auth. I am using the same exact email but I change some data. Every time I click on Reply I get another vertical line on the left. How do I get rid these lines so the email looks like a virgin?

Mozilla Thunderbird suddenly stopped loading e-mails from my ISP WOW! on my laptop on 10-25-2023. Any support or advice?

It began giving me the following error messages when trying to get or send messages: Sending of password for user sdcrumley did not succeed. Mail server pop3.knology.net responded: Auth-Status: Invalid login or password. Login to server pop3.knology.net with username sdcrumley failed.

However, I can still get messages and send messages on Wowway.com website/server. They have me in with same username/e-mail address and password. No problems there. Also checked the incoming and outgoing messages settings for correct addresses and they have not changed.

The message info portion of inbox messages has increased in size the last couple of weeks which makes the portion for reading the message quite small. How do I decrease the size of the message info portion?

Can't get the latest version of Thunderbird to work with an ameritech.net email. I get message " can't connect, retry, type new password or cancel"

Numerous users of Thunderbird have expressed their total dissatisfaction with the recent upgrade, especially the new font and layout in the email lists. Why has the Mozilla team ignored requests to return to the previous load to restore the font and list displays? Do you expect users to support your product when they totally do not like the new version?

I am unable to remove Passwords from my thunderbird account. The setting instruction clearly indicates that I have successfully removed the password. subsequent attempts to access my account keep insisting on a passwrd. How do I get rid of thiis e mail pw protection?

I would like to find all my emails dated October 25, 26 or 27, from any of the folders, ideally presented as one list. Is there a way of doing that?

From time to time I loose my ability to send emails. I check the settings and they are as they should be and have been for the many many years I have been using Thunderbird. I just don't know what to do to fix this problem.

Last week email layout and format appeared to change or update on my laptop. Since then I continue to get "There are no new messages." Note I can send messages out, and I can both send and receive messages on my phone. Wondering if the different taskbar including Get Messages is working right. Checked all settings, etc. Hope you can help.

bold text I can't find how to write an email in Thunderbird. The new interface is WORSE that previous and IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN BAD.

It is a very bad sign that I have to find my password and log into Firefox to tell you that the email service on Thunderbird SUCKS.

Maybe if I GOOGLE looking for an answer someone will post directions how to use your product.

The Windows 10/11 App Store version of Thunderbrid is very slow with new versions. My Thunderbird is on version 115.4.1 and that is the latest version from the App Store.

I hope it will be updated more quickly in the future.

An update a month or so back changed the layout and deleted all the contents of my sub-folders. This is a big deal as they contained all the info on my clients. Also, if I move an e-mail into a sub-folder, afer a week or two they just disappear. Finally, the feature that shows the thread of a message cannot be switched off. This just increases my click load!

Thunderbird updated today, 11-16-23, at 12-58-43 PM, in my main PC (Dell3080) quit working after the update. Now I can’t send messages and I received the last message this morning at 5:49 AM.

Thunderbird last updated 6-7-23 in my back-up PC (Dell3070) works fine. Its Thunderbird has received the 6-16-23, 5:49 AM message mentioned above, plus four more, the last one at 7:30 PM.

Both Thunderbird programs use the identical “Outgoing Server” settings.
