How do I talk to someone at firefox. I posted a question in support yesterday only to find a atupid answer The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. So why would you have a support page that does not provide support at all. That is incredibly stupid. What is the point of using firefox support for this buggy broken barely useable browser if nobody from fiefox actually uses them. That is the atupidest thing ever. I don't want some random stranger trying to help out I want to talk to an actual firefox employee. THAT IS WHAT SUPPORT IS FOR. TALKING TO AN ACTUAL EMPLOYEE FROM FIREFOX. Don't tell me to use feed back as nobody at all from firefox ever uses feedback. It is just a cheap bullshit excuse so firefox doesn't have to do anything about their broken shitty buggy browser

What did you glue sniffing monkeys do to my phone? Firefox for Android automatically updated without my approval/permission and now I can't set a @#$%ing homepage. WTF? Is there any way to revert to the old version? What possible reason can you offer me for eliminating the ability to set a homepage? Also is there any way to disable updates? I used to think that you guys were the best but with this kind of authoritarian BS I envision uninstalling this crap and using another browser. Again, what possible reason can you offer me for these changes? It has to be money, right? It is disgusting

i'm trying to install a webapp from http://www.unixmedia.it/webapp/ following the docs.

The webapp consist in just an "hello world" where i have a single page app and lauch_path to /index.html

trying to download the app by wget https://controller.apk.firefox.com/application.apk?manifestUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.unixmedia.net%2Fwebapp%2Fpackage.manifest -O myapp.apk seems to work, unzipping the apk i can see the right files included in /res/raw/application.zip, and the app is correctly installed in android.

When i launch the app, both with fennec and firefox beta, the app starts up, i can see the splashscreen with the logo image, and then a white screen appears and nothing more.

I don't see any relevant error using adb logcat

On my Samsung Galaxy S Blaze running Ice Cream Sandwich, I'm suddenly having trouble with Firefox Sync. It was working fine yesterday, and today, I noticed that an update to Firefox for Android was installed.

So I'm trying to send a tab from my phone straight to my computer, but no dice. I've already checked the "Accounts and sync" portion of my phone's settings. Firefox Sync is listed with the proper email address, and I haven't removed my phone from the list of allowed devices for my account. Oddly, Firefox Sync is shown as being deprecated. My phone literally shows my email address, and under it, "Firefox Sync (deprecated)".

Anybody else having this problem, and is there a fix for it? Any info would be much appreciated.

Until recently, my favorite way to deal with links and posts too long to read on my mobile device was to use Firefox's Sync's send tab feature to have the link open in a tab on my desktop browser. The feature was available in Android's share menu, and prompted me to pick which desktop profile I wanted the tab to appear in.

As of Friday, the feature is no longer present in Frefox Beta. I can't send tabs from my tablet to my laptop anmore. Is the feature hidden, or gone for good? Do I need to do something to turn it back on?

Firefox for Android AUTOMATICALLY reconnects to WiFi if I have EVER connected to WiFi in past. Sometimes I want to use WiFi and sometimes I want to use LTE with Firefox. How do I force Firefox to STOP using the WiFi connection and switch to using the LTE connection? Note that simply killing WiFi on the Android doesn't work; Firefox simply uses its past knowledge of the WiFi network and passcode to fire WiFi up all on its own. I HATE apps that think they know better than the user...

for the awful piece of garbage being passed off as an update to what was once the best browser around?

This pos is wrong in soooo many ways and the patronising statement that Mozilla is 'listening" is just an insult.

Downgrading isn't an option because previous versions aren't available. Windows yes, Android no. That must be because no one would stay with the latest version, so we're forced to stay with it. NOT Me. After 20 years I'm dumping Firefox. This latest version is crap and I'm not willing to settle for reduced productivity or ease of use out of blind loyalty. I had to install Opera to do something that FF couldn't. It's faster than FF, less page conflicts, shares bookmarks between devices and is far better than the crapgrade that is FF80.1.x - far better.

The best thing is for Mozilla to go bust, that way there's a chance that whoever buys the remains realises that satisfying customer needs rather than their own weird ideas is what's important.

Maybe if enough readers vote for this post it'll send a message that this crapgrade isn't fit for use and is hated. They would do well to abandon it and reinstate the previous version, but that would mean admitting their mistake, and Mozilla has never done that, preferring instead to brainwash us that we'll like it when we're use to it. Bull.

Time is running out. Market share has fallen consistently and the competition has improved whilst FF has deteriorated. This crapgrade could be the straw that breaks it. It is for me. I'm importing my bookmarks into Opera and configuring it on desktop and Android. Sadly, after being with FF since the beginning (at work and home) and with Netscape Navigator before that, it's the end of the road for me. The world needs a variety in apps, but whatever this one has to offer, the price is too high.

You have gotten lots of feedback about how bad the latest Firefox for android is. It seems you keep hearing it and treating it as a 'features' issue or that it's about fixing bugs ....

Those are not the issues! The main issue is you have completely changed the look and feel - and have replace a useable, trusted application with an ugly, unfriendly, unusable one!

Please listen to us! We don't want yet another 'fix' or an update that adds new features! We want you to give us back a browser that looks and feels like the one we had before, that was user-friendly and easy to navigate and understand.

Also, you need to understand that 'updates' which might work on a cell phone don't always translate well to use on a tablet. When you equate android only with mobile phones it seems you don't really care about tablet users.

Before I read the warning and recognized the difference between w3schools and w3.org, I downloaded some really cool templates, I now understand why I had so many problems with just trying to edit one page. I am a learner, my personal project is well behind schedule so I won't be using them for the project I picked them for, but if I choose to use them for another project how would I fix a really good template from the not so good original authors and customize it successfully?
