Please help! With the latest firefox update all of my bookmarks (and I have hundreds) are now gone!! I went on online to find help and the help was confusing and I couldn't figure out how to reload my bookmarks from the backup. Please walk me through the process step by step, I really need all of my saved bookmarks that I save articles for research, etc. Thank you

Before the new update of Firefox the drop-down menu would color itself a red color, if one of the options were already chosen. For example, if a webside had selectable options of answers in a drop down menu, and answer A already was selected, it's fillcolor/highlight would be red - ensuring the same options wouldn't be chosen multiple times.

Hello Is it possible to use the stylus add-on to remove the stories from Facebook? I am not a programmer by any mean but i like to "play" with the inspector and i found out that by deleting a node the stories disappear. So I was wondering if i can use stylus to delete this node for me! Thank you!

hello !, I formatted my PC and installed FF after that tried to log in but i forgot my password. so i changed it by using forgot password option. but then all my data(Bookmark , password, history...) didn't show up. i tried downgrading but still nothing. Please is there any way that i could get my former data back?

No other browser I have used is having this issue with this site, just Firefox.

Going to any page on the ESPN.com site, videos are playing automatically - both video and audio - despite the fact that I have Firefox set to block both.

I am running Firefox 104.0.2 (latest version) on Windows 10.

Seems like the blocker is missing something, somehow. Anyone else see this?

For some reason my desktop browser version of firefox does not sync passwords with my mobile and other versions of firefox. There are NO passwords saved on my desktop version, and when I try to sync my mobile phone to my desktop there is a permanent error. I have downloaded about sync and it also shows multiple errors with my Sync.

The issue appeared about two days ago. On the page https://index.hu/ the left click is not working from firefox. This is the most popular news site in Hungary. I also experienced the issue on other sites.

It is working fine from chrome and chromium. The issue is appeared on linux and windows 10 machines as well.

I tried to clear the cache but it does not help.

Please fix this ASAP or I have to delete your browser.

I am using Firefox and I went to the Autoplay option and selected 'Block Audio And Video.'

My FireFox media player was working fine this morning. Now it will not play the mp3 files I need to play for my work. Also, there's no sound on YouTube when I use FireFox. I have system sounds on my computer, and I have sounds on Google Chrome, but there are no sounds on FireFox. The media player will open with the mp3 files, but it does not move or play at all. I disabled my antivirus and it still won't work. So that is now fully back on. I uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer, I have done so many things over the last 4 hours and nothing is working. There was a Windows update today that happened shortly before this problem occurred.

Firefox will not upload files to attach to emails, or to the cloud. Says "Firefox not responding" and the little wheel just spins. Only solution is to quit Firefox.

Hello All, I recently had to start up my brand new MacBook Pro up in "Safe Mode" to verify an unrelated problem. When I restarted my computer from safe mode, my Bookmarks were either gone completely or "empty" and I was apparently in a newer version of Firefox. I then trashed my Firefox application and tried to restore an older version via Time Machine and after I copy it to my Applications folder I get the message that I am trying to open an older version of firefox and then doesn't allow me to do that. When I followed the option to their extents, only the new version with NO bookmarks shows up.

How can I get my old bookmarks back?

Since last Friday I haven't been able to access any of my bank accounts with US Bank. I can access these accounts through my US Bank phone app and through Chrome when I use it on my laptop as browser. When I called US Bank IT they could not help because the phone app and Chrome worked. What's happening with Firefox? I have used it for years to get to these accounts, and now I am unable to.

I am not able to download any kind of file, from any kind of website to my disk. I am able to select open on the download dialog, and this will open the file and save it to the temp directory firefox uses for this function, but this does not save the files to disk/the download folder like I want to. I am unable to "Save image as..." as well, since this is considered a download. There is no record of these downloads even being attempted in the download history.

I just upgraded to a 4k monitor and the blinking cursor is so thin I can not see it. I have adjusted the thickness in windows 10 with took care of the issue with Microsoft applications but I can't figure out how to make it thicker in Firefox.

I've tried changing from Firefox theme to System theme but there was no change. Fonts is set to Segoe UI 17.

I have System theme -- auto enabled.

Any suggestions?

Trying to use ProctorU with Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 11 Home, and I am getting the following message : "Monitor Count : You may only use 1 monitor during your exam. Your monitor count could not be found". I searched for possible fixes, and someone mentioned removing fingerprinters, and possibly also remove cookies and tracking content from Firefox enforcement. I removed all 3 and that did not help. I also tried clearing cookies and site data and also cached web content, this did not help. Is there some other setting in Firefox that might be preventing the detection of the monitor count? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I am trying to switch from Safari to Firefox. I would like to transfer all of my bookmarks, passwords, account info and history to Firefox. How do I get everything tarnsferred to Firefox?

A sync was forced and now my account has been disconnected. With it went my passwords. I cannot access my passwords because I don't recall my password. If I initiate a password change then, as the image warns, I may lose some, possibly of my passwords, etc. (Note: I did not have a master password setup).

If I wanted my browsers synced then I would have. To force me to sync is poor business practice. It's like going to McDonald's and ordering black coffee and what you get in black with sugar.

Now, before I leap to, gawd forbid, G___, what do you suggest I do??

Lastly, let me say that I don't understand why password syncing is supposed to allow a SSO across all Mozilla accounts. I'm signed in to Mozilla support, but then I'm not permitted to sign-in to my FF account. Unless you're going to tell me that Mozilla Support is in no way associated with FF, the rationale behind a SSO needs to change.
