Just recently Firefox seems to have its downloads capped at 15-16 meg speedtests show the full 1Gig speed OPERA AND EDGE both download at the full 999 megs but firefox has recently stopped downloading any faster then 19 meg

what in firefox could be causing this its not happening in any other browser.

Hi, Before Firefox's Version 125.0.1 (64-bit) latest update I could download any file from my safe office environment, behind firewalls, VPN, ... Now despite of unchecking the "Block dangerous downloads" I'm still unable to download files. I have Windows 10 on my laptop.

Here are the steps: Click on a file, Save "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." Click on the message - Allow download The result is a file with content "HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed".

Please help me to work the downloading again. I am aware of the safety but I want to switch off this feature.

The 125.0.2 update broke Amazon Prime Video. Firefox refuses to play ANY video, causes website to return a "That shouldn't have happened" error page. Prime Video plays just fine on Safari 16.6.1, macOS 11.7.10. Amazon says just to use Safari, but I want Firefox to work right.

I've been having an issue logging into Gmail using Firefox. I've used both Gmail and Firefox for years and have never had a problem, but I now get stuck in an endless loop on the Gmail login page. I select my account, enter my password, then get sent back to the account selection page.

The problem seems to be relating to me trying to link two Gmail addresses so that mail from one is forwarded to the other. I set up one account this way without any issue, but when I went to do it with a different account, I got an error code. After that, I was logged out of Gmail in Firefox and haven't been able to log back in.

Things I've tried so far:

• Using a different browser. I can log in without issues in Chrome.
• Logging in with a different method. Neither my password nor my passkey work.
• Logging in with a different Gmail account. All of my accounts seem to be stuck in this way.
• Disabling all my extensions. This doesn't help.
• Clearing Firefox's cache. No luck here.
• Restarting Firefox and restarting my PC. Turning it off and on again doesn't fix it.
• Contacting Google support. They said they think it's a browser issue as I don't have any problems using Chrome.
• Using Firefox's private browsing mode. This does work and I can log in to Gmail. However, I don't know exactly what the problem is because I've disabled all my extensions and cleared the cache in regular browsing mode and still can't log in that way.

So I have a partial solution (using Firefox's private browsing mode) but it's not a long-term fix. What else can I try? Has anyone else seen this problem before and been able to fix it?

When I goto to YT Homepage it will play all the sounds of the downloaded video's when I hover with the mouse.

But I want to hear the sound of that video AFTER I selected that Video or clicked on the title.

I've been having problems with some websites not displaying content, others displaying error messages. So have been going through the Troubleshooting Mode and diagnostic process.

The cause is the MS CoPilot extension for Firefox.

Useful in other ways as I discovered several other extensions I don't need, hence have remained disabled.

I've just noticed a "Tree Of Tabs" option. I right-clicked a dozen tabs, hit Bookmark This Tree. The webpages disappeared. Now I can't find them, and they're not listed anywhere in history or recently closed tabs.

I am unable to get printing to work correctly using Firefox with Epson POS TM-T20 thermal printers we have a work.

We're currently running Firefox on Debian 12. I've tried both the ESR version that comes with the Debian repository and the latest Firefox as a flatpak.

When printing to the receipt printer, the only thing that is printed is the left-hand most part of the logo and a little part of the text and this occurs towards the right-hand side of the paper. I've changing all of the settings, resetting the settings for the print in about:config, but nothing seems to work.

I'd love to get this working so that staff could use Firefox. I'm attaching an image of what the print job looks like and a screenshot of what the print-preview shows.

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. RAM is ok SSD is ok MX Linux is ok

I don't want to be able to scroll the page by selecting text. That's what the scroll wheel is for. More often than not this 'feature' just results in frustration as scrolling the page selects more text. Can I just disable this altogether somehow?

I can open the Chase bank site, but cannot log into my account. I can log into my Chase account using Edge. This may have happened after the most recent update to Firefox. Any ideas how to fix this?

I can no longer log into my social security account using Firefox, but the login does work on edge. When I try login on Firefox, I get the following error message:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

The initial web site is https://www.ssa.gov/. From there I hit "Sign in", and get to https://secure.ssa.gov/RIL/SiView.action using Edge, but get just the error message using Firefox.

There is another route, which is through https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/. Hitting either account or sign in on that page will work on Edge, but gives the same error message on Firefox.

When I pause a video (any site) and go to another tab / stay on the site, after a seemingly random amount of time the video starts playing again.

I'm using latest Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04 (snap).
