When I close Firefox 112, I get a duplicate Firefox icon in my dock.

I have a 24" IMAC and am running Ventura 13.2.1

How do I stop these extra icons from planting themselves in my dock.

This just started yesterday, with the download of 112.

Yesterday, I was typing an email when commas didn't work, or I got <'s instead. And CAPS were coming out in my text even though the CAPS lock was not engaged. And when I did engage it, smaller lower case characters came out.

Then the browser revered to its original state, all by itself, as if I just downloaded it. And then a FF window appeared saying something about troubleshooting an issue with the browser and refreshing. I refreshed. Didn't do any good, the browser was still in its "original state" (I don't remember, but I think it changed to its original state before I did the refresh.) I uninstalled FF and reinstalled.

Luckily, I had written out all my settings, add ons, had a screen shot of how I had the browser set up, and even changes I made to about:config settings. Took a while, but I got it back to what it was, for the most part. The only issue is that my zoom percentage (I use an add on) was usually around 140 for most web sites. Now it's about 130, so 10 less. And the Windows Display sliding setting (Ease of Access - Display) is around 140. That's one setting I didn't write down, but thought it was around 160.

I have no idea what happened.

One question - on the far right, on the task bar that has the internet address field, there's an icon for Extensions (looks like a puzzle piece). Is there a way to remove it? I did go to Customize, but when I try and grab and drag it off, it doesn't work.

I've noticed for two weeks now that last two standard entries in “Edit” menu are missing: “Start Dictation…” and “Emoji & Symbols” no longer show up. (see attached screenshot) It looks like this https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1563295

Currently - Firefox 112.0.1 (64 bits) — but issue also there before that upgrade and I think it came with version 112.0.0 - MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261) — issue also there before that latest update on april 20th - Mac Book Pro with Intel processor — a friend can confirm the issue with that chip but not with M2 and same OS and browser versions.

when opening the browser at the bottom right a window appears inviting me to install an antivirus because my system (is infected). After a few interminable appearances this window closes and when I launch my antivirus I have no reference to that site and to "AVAST"

I need to change my email address. The old email address is disabled and doesn't work. I have a new email address johnlorenzosr@gmail.com and can't get a code from the old one which doesn't work anymore. What do I do.

Hi all, I cannot sync ma password to a different system. Firefox states that my account is "disconnected", I cannot change this status even with multiple tries to login. If I go to Sync I can chose to login "again". If I do so nothing changes. Even with muliple tries. Do you have any idea how I can debug this? BTW: There seemes to be some polices in place even if i'm in no organisation.

I'm using a Windows 7 machine. And yes I know, I should upgrade to Windows 10 or 11. :-) Hopefully you all can still help. With the latest Firefox update 112.0.1, Firefox will no longer open. I can click the icon again and again and nothing. It doesn't even try or give an error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but nothing. I did find on another test machine I had if I installed an older version, it will open but wants to create a new profile causing me to lose all my bookmarks. I don't want that on my actual machine. Can anyone help? Keep in mind that it will not open at all. So I can't clear cache or change settings or even backup my bookmarks.

Checked all of Firefox fixes, did a Refresh & Reset. Finally uninstalled & re-installed to fix problem, still no sound?

Windows 10, 64-bit with latest version of Firefox 112.0.1 (64-bit). At first it was left speaker barely audible. Then after a PC restart & retrying the right speaker sounded very scratchy then No Sound. Sound is good with everything but Firefox, which was working until a couple days ago. Running out of ideas?

I keep adding the bom site to the excemption but never allows me to open it , goes to my modem page & again no view and lock me out of site but to modem page ?? and now access to the bom radar site .

Amazon site requests load(s) Edge Browser repeatedly-even without clicking on Amazon site w/in FF browser, the Edge browser launches. Current Ver.: 112.0.1 (64-bit)

I have the bookmarks set to "always show" on my macbook, and there is no issue with the bookmarks when in window mode, but when fullscreen they disappear :( Additionally, when I set firefox in windows mode, there is a white bar at the top that does not leave. It is about the side of the tab section in the browser.

Several years I logged into an extended family member's computer, accidentally sync from another browser and now this folder has been following me around. The thing is it's full of some really gross things. Mostly extreme right opinion pieces and just so much porn. I really want this folder to go away, but when I right click it the delete option is grayed out. I've tried deleting them one by one, but everything I close the window and reopen it again, all of the links are back. How do I purge this from my mozilla account?

After upgrading to the latest version (112.0.1) on MacOS 10.15.7, the bookmarks toolbar disappears when I enter fullscreen mode ('Always Show' is selected under Bookmarks Toolbar in the View menu). When I exit fullscreen mode, the toolbar reappears but a large grey bar then appears at the top of the window (see screenshot). I've read answers in the knowledge base that suggest that the toolbar always disappears in fullscreen mode, but I am 100% sure that this behaviour did not exist before the recent upgrade (perhaps this behaviour has been around for a while in Windows?). Either way the grey bar is clearly a bug and feels related to the toolbar behaviour. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a vision problem and can only read if dark mode is on. I have dark mode on for firefox but when I go to a website from settings, the back ground is white and blinds me. help

I have no access to all my bookmarks and the damn backup folder is empty, what kind of trash is this, I need this for my work and not even the search history is avalable, no more damn firefox, let me know if there is any way to get back that bookmarks and browser data since I have no way of retrieving any of the cinfidental accesses I need to perform my job

Everytime I try to access myAir.resmed.com I get a blank screen. When I do it with google chrome it works. Something set wrong in settings but can't find it.
