I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Hello Before I reset my PC some months ago, I almost never had to Login to sites, as the kept me logged in. This no longer happens, and now I frequently have to Login to eg. my Google account which needs third party autho and all sorts. It is rather annoying having to Login to Google every time I close the Window.

I do not have this setting on: "delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" I do have this setting on: "Ask to save logins and passwords for web sites"

It does save my Password and autofill, which makes it easier. But it is still annoying, that I have to login to everything every time.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox, to no avail.

Please Help

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. I see no microphone on in the address bar for Firefox. I read that it is supposed to be (standard feature?) on the left side. How do I restore or enable this feature? For good measure, would someone please send me an image (snip& sketch?) of the address bar showing what this looks like. First time posting so I don't even know if one can attach or include images in a reply.

Our office uses a cloud-based database. Mozilla won't allow me to "check" boxes to do database searches for specific things. Google works fine, Edge works fine, but not Mozilla. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated. Thanks!

why does firefox open 15 sessions in task manager when i openy have 5 windows open!!

When I am trying to access a photo library for Bing Wallpaper photos I am blocked by Cloudfare error 525. I can using a different browser (MS Bing; Chrome; DuckDuckGo) and it works fine. Only errors out using Firefox since last two updates.'

This issue has plagued me ever since I switched for Firefox. I have NEVER encountered this issue with any other browser. Once every week or two I will encounter a page with an MP3/MP4 file and will be presented with this error. I have already tried clearing cache, disabling addons, reloading, etc, but I guarantee the "best answer" will just be some rehashing of these steps. Something is fundamentally broken with this browser, and there are hundreds of people across various sites reporting it. Fix it.

It seems like more often lately that in the past. I just tried to post on the Portableapps website, and had all sorts of problems there.

I had to use Chrome to post. Actually, when I went first opened the page in Chrome, I got an alert that six trackers were found, and did i want to disable them.

Perhaps that relates to Firefox and accounts for some of the bad behavior?

I'm getting tired of this. There must be a happy medium between security and unencumbered usage.

Maybe it's one of my apps, i.e. Canvasblocker. It has a ton of settings options, and I don't have a clue what to do with them. Aside from that and Ublock, I don't see any others that fit that category.

Maybe it's something in my browser settings?

Now what I have noted is that this is causing the pages to load slow. Only ublock extension is installed, tried all dns settings but the result is the same. Is anyone facing the same?

I feel like I've been seeing people online complaining about this for a couple of years now, and it's shocking to me that I still couldn't find a solution in a thorough google search. Has anyone found a fix for the mandatory restart Firefox now pushes whenever there's an update available? Basically, out of nowhere, the program will refuse to open any new tabs or load any pages, instead giving the error message in the image. A restart is forced, and all private tabs are lost without warning. This is completely unacceptable browser behavior. As far as I know, there is no setting or about:config option that will fix this. Has anyone found a work-around?

I've been a loyal Firefox user for a couple of decades at this point, but this nonsense has me seriously considering switching to something else. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Hi, I've been using Firefox on all my devices for YEARS without any issues. However, as of recently, I had moved into a new apartment, and with that came a new internet connection, which was very slow since the beginning, but usable.

At first I had assumed that Firefox on my PC was loading websites more slowly because of my poor internet, which was partly the case - however, my laptop and Android phone were on the same network as the PC and were both much faster. So I assumed it had something to do with the differences between WiFi and Ethernet connections - the PC was plugged into the latter while the laptop and phone were using WiFi.

But then I noticed that Firefox was the only program with lacking speeds. Spotify loads video podcasts with no problem, Steam downloads are relatively fast (as much as my network allows), only Firefox took MINUTES to load a simple web site. For example, I tried opening Reddit on my PC to write this post, gave up, and am now writing it on my phone. The Reddit website is still loading on my PC as we speak.

I honestly don't know what could be causing this issue. I checked Task Manager, and Firefox isn't using any more resources than it normally would. I am also using the latest version, I just checked.

Any ideas or fixes? Even diagnosing the problem would go a long way.
