I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I'm using Firefox with Google as my default search engine. When ever I try to type in the Google search box, what I am typing appears in the address bar. I want to search in the Google search box as it is at eye level for what I am doing. I have tried all sorts of ideas from the web to fix this but no joy. Does anyone know how I disable this? Thank you

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

For years, I have used print to pdf in Firefox to generate pdf files of long web pages. It always worked. But lately, I noticed that huge numbers of blank pages are inserted in the pdf file, seemingly at random. I looked at the HTML source, and could not see anything that obviously triggers the blank pages. For example, a web page that ought to print to about 35 pages generates a file of more than 600 pages, with most of them blank.

I can use Microsoft Edge as an alternative, but pdf files from that browser strip out all the color, and are nevertheless super huge, about ten times larger than the ones from Firefox. E.g. the file mentioned above, about 35 pages, would be about 1.3 MB from firefox, and 12 MB from Edge. So getting the file from Firefox would be nice.

Is there a reason why print to pdf is behaving in this strange way, and anything I can do about it?

Since the last upgrade of firefox to version 125 we cannot download anything anymore from our internal servers using firefox. At first the download is blocked because of an insecure source (but the server is on our internal LAN). Then when we choose to allow it anyway, the file always is corrupted. That means we cannot save any report results anymore.

I already tried to uninstall firefox and install an earlier version (124) but the result was the same.

Please help to solve this issue asap

looks like a problem with Firefox as no problem when using a different browser e.g. Opera. Also cannot log onto Nextdoor.co.uk using Facebook to log on. Again works fine on Opera

Any links from rcsearch.ru to aliexpress is broken in firefox, but works in another browsers. For example click any aliexpress link here rcsearch.ru/-c48920.

This has started to happen whenever I try to do a Google search. I type in something into the search box and before I can go any further I'm hit with having to go through reCaptcha. This is a major pain in the butt. How can I disable this?

It doesn't happen when I use other search engines - just Google.

I've been having issues with the websites that I commonly go to no longer appear on the autosuggest list. Websites I haven't gone to for ten years appear when I type in a given sequence rather than more common ones. Website that I go to every day no longer appear.

I follow the "clear all.." and nothing changes. How can I start anew and have FF re-learn my url history?

To upload/import bookmarks into Firefox, the file extension of JSON is required. However from old crashed computer, I exported bookmarks in Excel. Please help. Thanks

Outlook is not working properly in Firefox. Works fine in other browsers but I prefer Firefox. It is only showing the first 20 or so e-mails, will not show e-mails in any other box, i.e sent etc.

In recent weeks a PopUp is appearing on my Outlook.live.com Hotmail screen: "Add Outlook.live.com as an application for mailto links? There is no choice to Decline only to Add it. You can Close the link with the X but it keeps returning each time I log in.

We are cautioned repeatedly not to click on unknown links so I haven't.

Could someone please explain in "layman terms" why I am getting this, what it's for and how to stop it?

Dear Friends at Firefox,

There is only one reason that i'm using Firefox less and less ; because of the download files options. When i choose the option to download to a particular location, inspite of that, most files get down loaded to the firefox download folder and i always have to go there and then copy or move it out to a location desired.

There is no easily vavilable info about that.

Would request some info and help for the same. i have tried all that i could from the current browzer settings and it has not helped.

Been a loyal fan of Firefox and would love to have this resolved.

When I enter text in Firefox 125.0.1 for Netgear's firmware download page at https://www.netgear.com/support/download/ to search for "GS108Ev3" Ethernet Switch, I get no response. It works in Firefox Troubleshoot Mode and works with Chrome Browser.
