Hi, all just a question. The account is supposed to very very old. But since i logged in nothing has been there. I am taking nothing. So you help that be great. Thanks.

The Update to 108.0.1 succeeded, but the partial process for "sync" still shows as partway. Must've clicked that item by mistake, and then killed it after seeing the scope--since I don't use a smartphone., etc., anyway!

We should be cautioned that this 108.0.1 upgrade is a complicated one. At midnight I just wanted to do a SIMPLE update (release notes listed just one item), shut it off and hit the sack --not be swamped with all the myriad new choices and features to learm! --as I now see.

When I close Firefox and open it again the cookie deletion exception list is empty. The issue happens on my macOS/Linux/Windows installations.

I am using custom settings for the history. I setup Firefox to delete the history when I close it but I selected only Cookie, Cache and Offline websites data. All the other options (i.e. website settings) are unchecked.

Any ideas?

For the past month or so, I've been experiencing frequent Firefox crashes.

They most often happen when I've just opened a page in a new tab, it's painted, and I make the first input trying to interact with it: all tabs will stay rendered and viewable, but otherwise unresponsive. But now they're also happening when Firefox is in the background. The frequency is about once or twice per day, with heavy use.

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS (jammy) with all packages up to date, the linux-oem-22.04 kernel package (currently 5.17.0-1025-oem), and Firefox installed via snap. The crash reports contain full details, of course, but the only thing I can think of that's especially "unusual" is that the 1Password extension has been misbehaving for a while (but it's been since long before these crashes began).

My system has 64GB of RAM, which is rarely more than 15% in use.

Hello, when I search firefox in Ubuntu snap store I see two firefox: Firefox web browser V 108.0 build2 238.8MB and firefox v 108.0 250.5MB. There are both safe? Which one to install?

The bookmarks menu sidebar disappears shortly after opening Firefox on its own after update to 108.0.1 and needs to be re-opened manually, why is this and is there a solution?

On Win 11, Firefox 108.0.1 seems to have some kind of page refresh issue. Only happens on sites like Facebook, and occurs in Troubleshoot mode so not due to running addins etc. Other browsers (Chrome, Vivaldi etc) all OK on the same pages (as was FF until the update).

It's hard to pin down what causes this, but my gut feeling is it occurs when an ad or posting containing a video tries to autoplay or refresh it's frame whilst scrolling, so may be something to do with video rendering. When it happens the entire Firefox window (including all menus, borders, text and icons) goes blank except for the background colours in the panels. This will go on for a few seconds and then usually all the pages, tabs, text etc will return. Just occasionally whatever is happening is enough to crash Firefox entirely or even the whole machine, requiring a power-cycle to restart it. This started happening within a few seconds of the automatic update to 108.0.1.

I will update FF on my laptop and see if the same thing occurs there...

Doesn't appear to. Both devices are intel i9 processors with Win11 Pro, major difference is the video card: Built-in Intel display on laptop, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 on desktop.

I will try a driver update for the NVIDIA and report back...

I will try to run with developer tools to see if I can pin it down further...

I recently upgraded my computer for Christmas and decided to change to Firefox as well. Everything is going smoothly; however, when I use YouTube, the font is not even. I don't know how to explain it well, but some capitalized letters are thicker in areas. I attached an image. The letters B, H, and R all have thicker lines in the middle of the letter than the rest. I have already tried turning off the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" option, but then the text is too small for me. Is there a way to have the lines in the letters all even-sized while still being in bold?

Dear all,

recently I picked up Mozilla again and saw some weird website formatting for some sites. It sometimes only affect certain areas (see attached picture Bad Formatting Amazon, where one part got squished and dragged down very much) and sometimes it affects the whole website (please refer to the other two pictures, one showing the proper formatting and the other one a formatting, which occurs over time, when leaving the website open)

Can I change any settings to combat this? Looking forward to your input!

Suddenly today my browser had switched any current tab to the bottom of my window, but it also only lets me see one at a time..which means I can't see multiple tabs open unless I close the current one. My tab bar is gone entirely and was up-top as it's always been, just under the URL box.

I didn't hit any key combos that I know of that would cause this, and I can't seem to find anyone else with the same problem when I search for a solution. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?? It's very odd and annoying, I've never had it happen before now..

I'm doing some housekeeping and I noticed it's been literally more than 4 years since I've been locked out of the Firefox account associated with my real email address, yet the account still exists. After 4 years. I have to assume my personal information is still there as well. I'd rather not file legal complaints to draw attention to this issue. Who can I contact to have that account permanently deleted?

Is there a trusted (preferably from Firefox itself) Add-on that allows one to Text the current link from a paired phone? The same approach as Firefox's menu choice "\File\Email link".
