I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

When using the built in history side bar or history manager, after scrolling down and clicking on a link, it automatically scrolls back to the top. THIS IS SOOO ANNOYYYINGG!! Please tell me how I can stop this behavior so I don't have to manually scroll back down to where I was EVERY TIME I CLICK A LINK FROM THE HISTORY.

Hello y'all: I am technologically challenged and I have tried for over an hour to turn off the dark mode on Firefox. Pls note I read ALL the other treads regarding this topic and for some with little to no-knowledge of programing like yours truly, the answers are interesting but for me useless.

I don't even know how the heck the dark mode got turn on to begin with. I have bad eye sights and this sudden change is driving me inside.

I thank you in advance for a simple, non-technical answer.

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

Hi, There is very little help if you can still log in in FB and Twitter but you lost all your feed and messages. It happened after refreshing FF. Switched both profiles in about:profiles. Logged out and in in both. All there is left is, check if Java script is enabled. Pretty desperate, but I'll try. So I am looking for my web content. According to this, I have to look for "list all tabs" under the "carrot icon". I can't find it.

I DO NOT LIKE THE LARGER BARS AT THE TOP. It takes 1/3 of my screen. Give a choice or adjustment to bar sizes. I can't see all that I use to be able to see. Now I am looking for a new internet browser that is more like the one you use to have. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!

What was changed on the last update.... All the pages I visited prior were compressed to the window size.... Now things seem larger and I now have to use the horizontal scroll to see the whole page...

Help, or I will have to revert to the previous version.....

Up-to-date Firefox on Windows 10 laptop. Today, for the 2nd time in a week or so, the “mailto” function has disappeared; i.e., if I click a “Send email” link on a webpage, the Windows dialogue box to select a mail app pops up. When I check the applications setting, mailto doesn't appear in the list.

The first time this happened, I found online instructions to refresh Firefox and select Gmail as the mail client. I don’t mind doing it again, but I am concerned about the problem occurring so soon after the recent refresh.

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

This annoying notification on the bottom right keeps popping up everytime I take a screenshot. I've been using computers for the past 17 years, I know how to paste things by now. Even worse, it overlays on other applications and pesters me there for about 10 seconds until I close it. Can this notification be hidden in about config or do I have to find a community add on that does the same thing, but without this stupid notification?

I'm using and old operating system on my computer, and the latest version of Firefox seems to overtax my graphics card, even with the most mundane websites and functions. So, I had to downgrade versions to the one just previous to today's update to even get here. However, it makes you create a new profile instead of using an existing one. Is there some way to get around this?

I recently went to use my card to buy something off ebay, my card is probably in the depths of my room, so i went to check firefox, it shows the last 4 digits of my card, showing that it did save it, but i cannot access it, and i cannot use the number on the card? I would really like to retain it, can anyone enlighten me? Thanks

I set the 'open link in new tab' and FF will not do it. It opens the link in the same window. Very familiar with PCs, even built some with MFM drives. Have tried the usual of update, restart program, restart computer, etc.

I have worked on it for months, from time to time.

Also, I would like to point out that the Great Mozilla Firefox, seems to be allowing too much freedom (or a lowering of standards) in updates of the software.

I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.

"Open previous windows and tabs" is checked but it's not working. I had to go to history and opened it. It's happening for the last several weeks.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

I have my language settings to English, and English ONLY.

When I open multiple sites, or even try to log in and view my passwords ~ it constantly displays in Russian or some other language.

There is no helpful solution posted, and I have no idea to fix this. Again ~ only English is set in my personal settings.

Any advice?
