Hello, I am having an issue with Firefox not wanting to open a server I have hosted on my WSL2 Ubuntu instance through localhost.
Edge and Chrome open it just fine.
If I try to open it through the WSL2 IP address (taken from eth0 on ifconfig output in ubuntu) and not through localhost, it works also fine, so there is something not working with localhost only in Firefox.
I tried everything I could find on Google for a week now, nothing seems to work, I refreshed/reinstalled Firefox (even though I deleted the profile folders also, it still knew somehow I am reinstalling cause it said so), I tried removing all the Windows Firewall rules I found in regards with Firefox and re-added one to allow everything from Firefox, still nothing, I reset all the settings in Firefox about:config, still nothing...
I am on Windows 11, this issue started happening a few days after I migrated to Win11, without any changes done to my server in WSL.
I attached some screenshots to show the issue, basically when I try to open the localhost:port (hosted in WSL as I mentioned) it just loads and loads and loads, nothing happens, I even waited 10 min, any other browser works instantly.
In one screenshot below with the hosts files, you will see I added the ipv6 ::1 localhost but I tried without that even and it still does not work.
Any help anyone can give is really appreciated, thanks. Let me know if I should post any other details or screenshots.
