I started getting this message today - "this page is slowing down firefox. To speed up your browser stop this page" How can I fix it other than to start using Safari.

Until a few days ago, I could type a search into the Firefox home page and my typing would appear as expected in that 'window.' Now the typing appears in a address bar, apparently owned by google, at the top of the page and it is extremely distracting and annoying.

How can I restore the sensible and easy way to search?

How to do this for my paid newspaper subscriptions ask me to log in every week: they say "You can avoid doing that by saving your login information on your browser" (I'm on Imac)

I use Firefox for Mac. Often when I want to click on a link or complete an on-line form, a long list of unwanted suggestions pops up and orevents me doing this. Only by hitting Escape can I get control back.

By the way, I don't want any solution which involves clearing the cache, as I value that help.

Firefox has always maintained that current tabs will be restored after a reboot of the browser, and indeed that was the case for the first half-dozen years I've been a subscriber. That has not been the case for the past 4 - 6 months however. I have the correct Settings for this, so it is not on my end. Why do I always get a fresh Firefox browser whenever I update the version (which is quite regular lately . . . maybe a new version of Firefox every 3 weeks). Please help.

I have used https: www.united. com on Firefox before. I can log into united and use all features except when clicking on Book then Flights only. Normally it goes to a search page to enter airports, dates, etc etc. It did work on Firefox but just very recently it loads into that particular site but then goes to a blank white page. I attempted to use this feature on Google to check and it works fine. Any thoughts?

I'm trying to visit "Feedly.com," but as soon as I type "F" Firefox assumes I mean Facebook and pops up with a screen time blocker. There is no way to proceed, typing "Okay" and returning to type in the browser only restarts the prompt.

I use Mosaic, a window manager utility, for macOS. With a hotkey, I can move or resize a window according to a preconfigured grid.

This always has worked great with all different applications, and only in the past couple of months it stopped working with Firefox.

It appears to be related to the way Firefox is does animation of resizing or window movement. My hotkeys no longer have the effect on the Firefox window moving.

This is disruptive enough to my workflow that I have switched to Chrome, which doesn't have the same issue. I really am not okay with this solution, as Chrome is the worst for a software developer. Tab and session management in Firefox is the absolute best and I want to come back to FF.

Is there any way to completely disable whatever window animation features have recently been added to Firefox?

I have created a WordPress Website and some of the images are not showing on the FireFox browser. There is no problems on Chrome or Safari browsers. The first image is a screen shot from the Chrome Browser of a section on my website, the second image is a screen shot of the same section but from FireFox Browers. Can you help fix this problem?

Always when want to use the Website "Weather.com" my tab brakes down with the announcment" Der Tab ist gerade abgestürzt" which means: the tab just crashed. I do not know why this happens. I have a website that is cached with Cloudflare. It turns out that after updating it I tried to reload the cache by pressing the shortcut key Cmd+Shift+R, but it had no effect, the HTMLs are downloaded but the content remains the same.

In this case I had to directly access the HTML and JSON file that were not updated and I had to carry out the procedure individually for each one, thus reloading their cache, but not for the entire site.

The site only had the files loaded by accessing it via the anonymous tab and then clearing the entire browser cache.

Since installing NordVPN I am unable to login. FireFox will not accept my password. However, it works on my android phone. I have installed the NordPass extension but the problem persists. How do I fix this issue. I want Bitwarden to manage my passwords.

I turned off my Mac Mini 2 last night, February 7, and when I turned it on this morning, all my Firefox bookmarks were gone.

Everything else is fine (Chrome bookmarks, which are different from those in Firefox, remain intact). And yes, I should have known better, but since when a Firefox update deletes all bookmarks?

I'm guessing that is the reason, because everything else is intact.

Any suggestions as to whether there is ANY way to recover them?

After update, netflix shows message to update browser, see screenshot attached. And sometimes, Mozilla extension webpage does not recognize that it is opened on Firefox browser, see screenshot attached. Firefox version - 122.0.1 MacOS version - sonoma 14.2.1

WSJ opinion pages won't load fully on Firefox. The same webpage works on other browsers. This has been a recurring issue ever since I switched over to Firefox. It's the main reason why I still keep Google Chrome around.

I've tried updating to the newest version of Firefox and also iOS. Also, clearing my cache/cookies works sometimes but the problem keeps coming back.

I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. My Firefox window with 15+ tabs just crashed. I watched a YouTube video and the solution offered doesn't work. How can I restore them? And does Firefox really not have a way to speak to a human being??

Just lost it.

For several weeks now, whenever I close Firefox and shut down my iMac and open Gmail the next day, Gmail seems to forget which emails I have already read, and it marks many old emails as unread. Deleting the Google cache and cookies helps, but only temporarily. This problem doesn't seem to occur when using a different browser, such as Safari, or when using the built-in MacOS email client. Therefore, I'm thinking it's a buggy interaction between Firefox and Gmail. I didn't used to have this problem, so perhaps it's related to a Firefox update? Anyhow, I'm hoping someone can help. Thanks!
