Hey,

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

When using the built in history side bar or history manager, after scrolling down and clicking on a link, it automatically scrolls back to the top. THIS IS SOOO ANNOYYYINGG!! Please tell me how I can stop this behavior so I don't have to manually scroll back down to where I was EVERY TIME I CLICK A LINK FROM THE HISTORY.

I DO NOT LIKE THE LARGER BARS AT THE TOP. It takes 1/3 of my screen. Give a choice or adjustment to bar sizes. I can't see all that I use to be able to see. Now I am looking for a new internet browser that is more like the one you use to have. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!

Hello, I use Firefox with window 10. Recently when I open Firefox, I notice,the a bars the top are occupying 40% of the screen. This leave me much smaller area to see any content on the web. I have tried to reinstall Firefox. I even restore windows 10 to previous day and it did not help. Now I run out of any idea how to solve the problem. Thank you for your help, Xoo.

I am a visually impaired individual, who is struggling at times to clearly and efficiently see the controls, menus, and bookmarks on the FF browser header/pages. I have adjusted every setting, on my own system and within FF, that I can find and think of. I have the webpages set the way I need them to be; I just continue to struggle with the Tab headers, menus, and bookmarks within FF itself. If anyone can help me, it would be GREATLY appreciated. TIA.

Hello, I love using firefox but I tend to open many tabs. I close them often but I noticed in taskmanager that closed tabs were continuing to use RAM. How can I disable this from happening. (I read a few articles mentioning about:memory about:performance ??? I'm not an expert but I don't mind doing it manually) Thanks

What was changed on the last update.... All the pages I visited prior were compressed to the window size.... Now things seem larger and I now have to use the horizontal scroll to see the whole page...

Help, or I will have to revert to the previous version.....

I have my language settings to English, and English ONLY.

When I open multiple sites, or even try to log in and view my passwords ~ it constantly displays in Russian or some other language.

There is no helpful solution posted, and I have no idea to fix this. Again ~ only English is set in my personal settings.

Any advice?

Up-to-date Firefox on Windows 10 laptop. Today, for the 2nd time in a week or so, the “mailto” function has disappeared; i.e., if I click a “Send email” link on a webpage, the Windows dialogue box to select a mail app pops up. When I check the applications setting, mailto doesn't appear in the list.

The first time this happened, I found online instructions to refresh Firefox and select Gmail as the mail client. I don’t mind doing it again, but I am concerned about the problem occurring so soon after the recent refresh.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

HI! I'm using Firefox 98 on Linux Ubuntu 20.04. after the last update I found several settings changed and I had to reset them, but there is one setting I can't manage. In the download preferences I set all the Microsoft Excel entries to "Always ask", but every time that I try to see an Excel file (no download, just open with ...), this is automatically downloaded. I definitively don't want to download it. How can I change this behavior? P.S.: I realized right now that there is the same problem with .docx files and I don't know how many others file types.

I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.

This annoying notification on the bottom right keeps popping up everytime I take a screenshot. I've been using computers for the past 17 years, I know how to paste things by now. Even worse, it overlays on other applications and pesters me there for about 10 seconds until I close it. Can this notification be hidden in about config or do I have to find a community add on that does the same thing, but without this stupid notification?

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?
