I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Ctrl + T no longer opens a new tab, but instead brings me to the third tab I have open. If I have less than 3 tabs open, it either does nothing (for one tab) or brings me to the second/third (for two or three tabs). Other keyboard shortcuts are not glitched like this. Why is this happening and how I can fix it?

I have already reinstalled Firefox and restarted my computer, but neither of those have done anything.

When I created my account FF did not prompt me for the login information. When I return to the site FF does not respond to the login request. I have been using FF for years and never had it not respond to login request. I do not receive any errors

Hi, I have recently update my Win system with everything including Firefox. And now when I open new tab there is the same Firefox icon like always, but when I it is loading new page then its new X. When it is done with loading it changes to OK icon of the dedicated page. Is this X normal? Thank you

I have tried preventing Firefox from autostarting with Windows start up by examining these potential program starting locations:

I reviewed my Firefox settings recently, and mode some amendments. After that, I went back to my Google calendar, to find that the display is weird - see attached Please could you advise what Firefox setting would have caused this, and how I can correct it. I have tried logging out and back in to Firefox, and this has made no difference.

Hello, as of yesterday, I noticed that my Google searches were displaced by ads. If I search something, Google would normally display a short summary and a little piece of information at the top of the page, but instead the first ~10 results are all ads, one of the top ones always being yahoo.com. Same goes for searching for translations "[Any word] + language" normally results in the translation tool being displayed at the top, but again just ads.

I have scanned my PC for viruses (with the Windows Defender and Bitdefender) but at least they didn't find anything. When I deactivate all my extensions (Which is only Adblocker, ironically), nothing changes. When I browse in Safe Mode, the ads do not appear. I have already cleared my Cache etc. but that didn't do too much. No I installed a Scriptblocker and with that, Google is back to normal again. But of course, even if that workaround works, I'd also like to know what is causing this. (I also checked with Chrome for example, the problem is Firefox specific)

Any ideas what I could try next or what the problem might be?

I don't know how to identify this problem. WHAT IT IS: for about 6 days now I have been getting a message from my PNCBank saying unable to connect, try another browser. Previously it has worked just fine. I have not changed any information and the same crredentials work flawlessly with Chrome.

My firefox collapsed a couple of times (I don't blame it my browsing contained around 40 tabs XD). However, when I restarted the browser all of my addons went missing also I cannot add any new addons tried the ones recommended by the browser. I also tried to update the browser and all the troubleshooting options I could find. The issue is not detected by any troubleshooting I tried. So please help me restore somehow my addons or at least make me able to install addons at all. Thanks

Why is Firefox opening new tabs for content I have not clicked or even moused over? This just started a few days ago. It is mostly adds, but sometimes news articles I have not selected.

To make the local startpage as a new tab I tried autoconfig.js and autoconfig.cfg but I got a error message when I open the broswer and nothing change. To remove the url from the local startpage I browse the reddit but I couldn't find answer, I want that when I open the browser it show my custom and local startpage without the url appearing.

Had Firefox for many years. Generally, install updates automatically.

Most recent update a few days ago (109.0 (64-bit)) has stopped all on page links. I even try to hover over, view and copy links, and they don't show up. Try to advance pictures in a rotation display - no response. The only change was the auto update.

I've been using firefox desktop pretty much since its inception. Despite numerous updates, for well over a year it has been auto scrolling when on facebook and I have tried every fix it to no avail (I'm highly computer literate and to me, this is now nuts). Note. My android mobile has never done it. I am at the end of my tether and am now looking at moving to another browser due to the frustration. I've gone through all the forums and note there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people with the same problem. Why can you not fix this and is there a fix? I use Firefox on my Mac. Since updating to the OS Ventura, I now see many words on different sites, as well as numbers, show up as things like zzjk{d instead of saying brett. This happens on my ebay site, my american express site which I cannot see any numbers of transactions cost since all the numbers show up as (d9 f for example. Something is not working correctly. I checked and and up to date with all firefox updates. Safari works perfect on all sites so this is a Firefox issue. See attached for how some areas on eBay look. Not all words are like this, some are still english spelling correctly. But some pages like this support page are completely unrecognizable but works correctly on Safari.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

I´ve found out, that this Workaround seems to no longer to work since Ver. 101.0.1 (last working Ver.)

This is especially regarding Downloads triggered out of the embedded PDF Viewer in Firefox, when You click on the "Download PDF" Symbol.

Until this Ver. You could still bring back the "Choose What you want to do with the file" Window if You set the mentioned about:config setting to false (linked thread above).

I see this actually as quite crucial and almost a bug, since You will have departments with Workflows build around this. - Thank You for any insight or help
