Hi,

I have a web application which runs perfectly on firefox versions below 103. Meanwhile, I had to change my laptop and I installed latest firefox version on my new laptop. I have a login page in my web application which isn't working in the latest firefox version. But, the application works perfectly even now in the older versions below 103. What might be the reason?

Little Snitch just popped up letting me know what Firefox has recently connected to Nord VPN

There's been 11 connections to cm.nordvpn.com and 1 to nordvpn.com and it also connected to nordvpn-com-blog.disqus.com.

A little concerning as I use Proton VPN which is currently off?

I've been a long-time fan of Firefox's bookmarks management system, but over the past year, I've encountered a persistent issue that's affecting my productivity. I regularly use the bookmark bar and organize my bookmarks into folders. However, any changes I make don't seem to stick and get reset after a period of time. This is especially frustrating as I heavily rely on bookmarks to keep my browsing organized. Problem Details

Here's what typically happens:

1. I add a bookmark to a specific folder or position, either in the general list of bookmarks or on the bookmark toolbar.
2. Sometime later, that bookmark leaves its designated position and moves to the bottom of the unsorted list of bookmarks.

Devices and Operating Systems

• MacBook M1 2020 running macOS Monterey
• Dell Alienware 17 r5 running Windows 10

Both devices have the latest version of Firefox installed, and I use Firefox Sync to keep my bookmarks and settings consistent across these devices. Suspicion

I suspect that this issue occurs when I make a change to bookmarks on one computer and then open Firefox on the other computer. The bookmarks seem to reset, possibly due to some issue with Firefox Sync.

I am using Firefox with the uBlock Origin and Cookie AutoDelete extensions enabled. When I try and load Gmail or any other Google site, I get a blank page and nothing loads at all. This only occurs when my VPN is on (I use Private Internet Access). However, even with the VPN on, Chrome will still load those sites. Disabling the VPN means that the sites load normally.

My guess is it might be some sort of privacy setting in Firefox, but I don't understand what it could be. The only thing that breaks/fixes the sites is connecting and disconnecting the VPN, irrespective of which country I try and connect from.

Dear Mozilla team, how can I delete the search bar on the bottom of the page? I want to put information on top of the site, but my query lands in the bottom and I have to put all back again in order to do the search. The search bar appears on the bottom left side of any website. It is very annoying and I don't need it. Even if I want to search for something, it does not give any further information. thanks for your help!

Have had this problem for a couple of years now, across dozens of Firefox updates. Decided to finally make a post since have not been able to find anything online.

Normally not too much of an issue as I can edit on a different computer through Firefox Sync (or through the Bookmarks manager), just posting to see if anyone else has seen this before.

If I open a Bookmarks Toolbar folder, then right-click a bookmark to edit it, the contextual menu appears behind the open folder dropdown menu.

Issue persists even if I reset Firefox, or even completely uninstall / remove ALL its bits and pieces, reboot, and do a clean install.

Since I am on a Mac, I use the AppCleaner app from FreeMacSoft to completely remove an app.

This happens only on one of my two Macs. Have never seen this behavior on any other Mac (I work on dozens for work). Both my Macs also have Win 10 installs through BootCamp and those two also behave normally. I use Firefox Sync across 4 Firefox installs (2 Mac OS and 2 Win 10), an iPhone, and an iPad.

Screenshot enclosed below. Feel free to ask for any other info you may need. I recognize this may not be a Firefox issue. There seems to be a funky interaction between my install of Mac OS and Firefox. This occurs only with Firefox. All other apps exhibit normal menu behaviors.

For whatever reason, I can't find a simple way to file a bug report. Starting 120.0, or maybe in 120.0.1, I've started seeing a cursor appearing next to buttons and other components on web pages that you definitely would not expect to see cursors next to.

It seems that a cursor has started to display when I click on web components even if it's not a text entry field. I've included a screen shot that includes a cursor appearing next to the Refresh button in Gmail, for example.

There's even a cursor appear in the "Browse" button on this very page in the Add Images section.

Hi, I don't know why, but my firefox's console suddenly started highlight dom elements only with borders, without background colors for padding and margin as usual. How to get them back? Attaching 2 images: one from firefox, with current boder-highlights, and sadly one from chrome, because firefox doesn't have anymore, with background highlights, just as an example of how, circa, was FF before.

How to get back?

I have enabled the "Reduce motion" in macOS to limit animations when using app exposé or switching between desktops. Firefox seems to read this option from the OS and limit its animations, such as the loading animation shown next to a tab description when loading a window.

Is there an option to ignore the OS settings and enable all animations in Firefox?

Adblocker stopped working on my Macbook macOS version 12.4 Monterey with this latest Firefox update. It says it is turned on, but pop-up ads AND content blocking are occurring on https://www.wunderground.com/weather.

bold textAfter downloading latest version of Firefox, lost all bookmarks. Followed instructions on restoring, window showed all restored, but all are still missing.

Created second profile (intended for business use) on my USB stick, I thought that naming the profile in create new profile would create a folder of that name in my chosen destination, it didnt, and created the profile in the root directory of my USB stick, I then realised this had not created a new folder with the name I used in the new profile setup, so then removed profile in the profile setup page, and it deleted the whole USB stick!! Doh. Can I recover the data, ie reverse the profile deletion? I have lost a whole load of important stuff.

it's been a while since I completely lost icons on the address bar apart from the Container ones.

The icons for "Always open this in a Container" or "Toggle reader view" or "Bookmark this page" are missing, not their functionalities (I can blindly click on them).. but no icons, I tried to reset the Customization of my bar (brrrrr I lost all my extensions icons and orders!! uarggh) but no luck for me.

It is quite annoing since I have to wait the popup otherwise I cannot remember where are exactly the icons..

Could anyone help me please?

My bank has recently switched the position of 'online' and 'bank name' in its login URL. How can I delete all history for the old URLs (e.g. Bankname*) without deleting history for all non-bank-related URLs?

My Firefox browser was automatically updated to version 101 today May 31, 2022.

The IMDB home page (www.imdb.com) is now broken. The drop down boxes at top right and left are displaying all their options on top of the web page content. Pages are not loading fully.

This is on a MAC. Safari and Chrome browser work properly for the IMDB page.

Is there a fix for this?

When I click on a link from an email or document, Firefox opens but goes to my homepage and doesn't go to the link page. I've tried setting my home page to blank, changed the settings for opening a new tab or window, and the one for "switch to it immediately" but it doesn't seem to help. How do I fix this?
