Suddenly google search in Forefox stucks on blank page. It works fine with other search engine but it doesn't with Google. I have to close and reopen browser again!!!!! everything is updated! Win10 In debug i can see "ignorati entryTypes non supportati: largest-contentful-paint."

The Firefox prefs.js file was quarantined by avast yesterday. Message indicated malware had infected the file. Now when I click on the Firefox icon the MSN browser comes up. How can I get back to using Firefox safely? Can I uninstall Firefox, then re-install it to make the problem go away?

When I try to download a file, the download always fails. This happens no matter what website I'm downloading the file from (see screenshot 1).

This started happening within the last week or so. We are running versions 97 and above.

Firefox is configured to always ask where to save files to (see screenshot 2).

Write permissions to the user's Downloads folder is denied for reasons unrelated to this issue (see screenshot 3). When I re-enable write permissions, the problem goes away.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is write access to the Downloads folder required now, even if Firefox is not configured to save files to that location? Thanks!

Is there any to make Firefox automatically restart a new session (loading the start page) after a crash, without any prompts?

Context: This is for a disabled person who cannot use input devices: I start her computer every morning before going to work and load a long Youtube playlist of videos, so she doesn't have to do anything. But if Firefox crashes 5 minutes after I left, she cannot restart anything herself and has to wait until I come back.

Any ideas?

I have this box that shows up over the top of any video application on my firefox browser since my most recent update. It doesn't appear on other browsers. How can I remove it?

Under User Account Control I get the message : Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer (the message comes up on my laptop (not this one). I try to say "yes" but the computer doesn't accept the command. The computer shows that it is connected to the internet but I cannot go into my e-mail. Something in Firefox is being blocked. How can I unblock?

Follow the dialog at homelink.com to report an error with a garage door remote problem. Clicking on "Submit" gets a 404 error. I've had similar problems with other website dialogs, but usually the link is just ignored. For example rockler.com, when attempting to place an order - nothing happens. In both cases, switching to MS Edge works correctly.

1. When I fill in a username/password, there is about a 10 second delay after selecting the username before the password fills. Same issue with filling forms with address or credit card info. 2. If I tab into a selection box and arrow to the selection, things work as expected. If I pick the box with the pointer and select from the selection boxx offered, there is about a 10 second delay. 3. If I go to the firefox menu and select things like Help,Get Help or Tools,Settings, there is about a 10 second delay. 4. I'm using a screen reader program, Zoomtext, but have the same issue whether the program is enabled or disabled. 5. Windows 10 and Firefox is up to date. 6. I've been having this issue for more than a month, through several Firefox updates.

Text returns if I restart Firefox in troubleshooting mode.

Text remains absent if I disable all extensions and restart Firefox.

Text remains absent if I clear the cache.

Text remains absent if I refresh Firefox.

Text remains absent if I clear the startup cache.

I recently made the switch to Firefox. I attempted to use the version downloaded from the internet, which I already had installed for a long time, but it would not open. I then used the version available on the Microsoft Store, which worked fine. Eventually, Firefox crashed and would not reopen. A message saying something along the lines of "Are you sure you want to start Firefox in safe mode?" would appear for a split second, and then close. I tried:

-Starting Firefox in safe mode, but nothing happened. -Restarting my computer. -Reinstalling Firefox. -Running as administrator. -Checking it is not blocked by antivirus. -Using the profile manager to create a new profile: The .zip file version opens but does not help, and the version opened by using the "firefox.exe -P" command in Run suffers from the same problem as the browser and opens for only a split second. -Attempting to boot my computer in safe mode with networking, however, the Microsoft Store listed Firefox as uninstalled, and the network menu would not display any networks so I could not reinstall it. -Searching for any Comodo iseguard.dll files, but I found none.

The only thing that worked was searching "Mozilla" in files and deleting everything except what my computer said was part of the system. After that, I was able to open Firefox, but after a short amount of time, the problem started all over. I have no clue what to do and looking all over for solutions is driving me nuts! Please help!

I frequently try to save pages as PDFs. When I print the page directly to a printer, no problem. When I save the PDF, it's usually munged and not a valid PDF file (very small or 0 bytes). Example URL: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/01/science/bacteria-microbes-electricity.html

Makes an empty PDF while when I do Print and then Save as PDF. I'm on Apple OS 10.13, using Firefox 67.0.4. This problem has been with us for a while (> 1 year I believe) and happens on all my machines.

I seem to have gotten something called Google Ad Services. It frequently interferes with my getting to websites and I cannot find how to block it or remove it. HELP!

Since upgrading to 100, I am unable to log in to Florida Unemployment site. I have followed all their recommendations and still am unable to access. Also, when I click on an item, new tab is opening in place of one I clicked on instead of new tab.

On the news web site I regularly follow videos are not displaying correctly for a long time now - they start and then freeze. In addition, from time to time, embed video content is not existing. I would like to underline that the content is appearing normally when I use Microsoft Edge.

I am trying to sync my two computers together and I now find one of them is effectively locked out because every time I try to sign in I get the message - "Blocked by content security Policy" so how can I fix this?

Cannot login to https://www.roadrunnersports.com/ When I put my username & password in I receive back:

"Request failed, Please try again later."

It logs in fine in Chrome, Safari & Opera. Running mac o/s 10.15.7 & FF 100

When I open a website, the message "Firefox is already running" comes up every time. Task manager says nothing is currently running. I have to click "close Firefox every time I go to a website. Can you help? Thanks Alan Murray
