I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Every time I launch Firefox it creates 12-13 instances of Firefox along with one each for Chrome and Console.

I don't need that many instances. Typically I have no more than 3-4 tabs open.

Is there a Configuration setting that I can change to reduce the number of instances to 5 and greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to launch.

I am running Windows 10 Pro V21H2 at current update level. I have a custom made tower with 512GB SSD and a Core2 Duo processing running at 2.93 GHz with 8 GB Ram. Firefox is V17.0.1.

Somehow I seem to have lost everything from my Yahoo pages. Sent, Archive, Deleted are all empty. There should be a mass of stuff in there. I was looking through Settings and may have accidentally clicked on something I shouldn't have. I was not intending to change anything. I guess I can't recover anything but I want to get it back as it was so whatever happens from now is saved in the right place.

What do I need to do to achieve this? You just can't guess the mass of stuff that has disappeared. A lot of it irreplaceable. Thanks in advance. Mike

After logging in to banking website, selecting any action after landing page results in just a greyed-out loading popup with Asterisk symbol showing working clockwise action. Tab continues and won't even auto time out disconnect like it should. must close tab to exit. Edge browser works fine on site, problem just began this week (update glitch ?)

certain parts of kp.org will not download with firefox. had to install an other browser to get them. as this is important med. info. i think this should be looked at and fixed

Hi Is there any way to synchronize in Firefox another account but not mine, a different user i.e. I would like from time to time sent a opened Tab to my wife so she could see/read something interesting, but she's got different created account in Firefox. I have my Firefox sync logged in on my laptop and smartphone with the same account but how to sent an opened tab to a different user/different account.

google calendars does not work well on Firefox. the headings become garbled and print over themselves. this problem does not occur on chrome . it doesn't doesn't seem that there are any settings that make any sense or come close to a change. So far my search has not brought up any answer or even a similar question. Maybe I'm looking wrong but any help would be greatly appreciated. vb

When I visit Hulu.com some strange emails appear along with legitamite emails, but ones I have never used on the Hulu site. Is there a way to remove them?

I have a problem with facebook.com, and scrolling at this site. With my add-ons from firefox, when I scrolling facebook.com, my lenovo ideapad have black. Then I must restart system. Today try scrolling facebook on microsoft edge, and I don't have any problems. Then I try with my firefox, without any add-ons, and problem fixed. Did any add-ons doing problems with scrolling facebook? In the past few week I have started having problem playing certain YouTube videos (I see no real pattern except certain channels seem to be more likely to fail than others) in a normal browser window, the video will stop at the spinning circle. It works if I try in an incognito window (with all the same extensions active) or another browser. I have noticed the problem on a Linux Mint laptop as well as on a macbook. On the Linux laptop I tried replacing the built in Firefox with the one from the the Mozilla homepage with no improvement. If I clear history in Firefox it seems to work once or twice and then the problem reappears. I also tried disabling hardware acceleration but no dice. There does not seem to be any difference whether I am logged in to my YouTube account or not. I have even tried reinstalling the computer but the problem does not disappear.

I've installed Inter font from Google fonts (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter) on my windows, but as you can see in the image, the font is not displaying correctly in Firefox.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

I've been using firefox desktop pretty much since its inception. Despite numerous updates, for well over a year it has been auto scrolling when on facebook and I have tried every fix it to no avail (I'm highly computer literate and to me, this is now nuts). Note. My android mobile has never done it. I am at the end of my tether and am now looking at moving to another browser due to the frustration. I've gone through all the forums and note there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people with the same problem. Why can you not fix this and is there a fix? The autocomplete feature keeps showing me the US version of the KLM website when I type "kl" in the address bar instead of my local version. And I can't seem to get rid of it, or to get my local version instead.

How to control what is the first result shown in the address bar ?

Recently (and during the writing of this) i have experienced typing lag in Firefox. My input gets processed and handled, but it takes a little while, sometimes up to a few seconds, for the text to appear or the changes to occur (think of sending messages). I am currently on Firefox version 106.0.5, and have tried doing a safe restart ("Troubleshoot mode"), but the problems persevered. I have tried clearning cookies, cache, browser and login history, but the problems persevered. I am also not using the windows cursor text color highlighting, which was submitted as a solution to a similar problem a year ago. Thank you if you can help!
