I have Firefox on two computers, both on Windows 10. One has a bug, so I need to re-install it. My Firefoxes sync, so I am afraid that if I delete the buggy Firefox and reinstall, I will loose my bookmarks. How do I avoid that? What procedure would avoid that danger?

My hard drive lacks space for System Restore, which I forgot to turn on. After I mistakably clicked 'Delete files' 2 hours ago, Recuva recovered these 53 files, too little for a Firefox User Profile ?

Lost my session. Not the first time, so I went to retrieve it with sessionstore.jsonlz4 Put it in the directory above the backups as usual. Not working. No matter where I put it, Firefox is not restoring my session. Tried everything I can think of, no joy. Would really like to recover my session. Has the location changed? Different file name? Firefox has done a lot of updates lately. I am on a pc operating WIndows 10.

It would be nice to be able to add notes to passwords so I know what they are about and organise them into an alphabetic list. Another useful feature would be the ability to create folders to organise passwords into groups.

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

i get confused about which firefox i am using when i click the fox.is it mjcrosoft or or the app i downloaded from the web. can one be deled without messing up the other FFox account  ?

I'm having trouble with the ui elements on firefox, the min/max/close buttons are showing some random characters and the menu also shows an "Á" besides some options.

Here's what I tried: reinstalling, clean reinstall, delete start cache, fresh restart, troubleshoot mode, On windows: restore font configuration, sfc /scannow, dism cleanup-image restorehealth, deleting all aditional installed fonts and saving only system included fonts.

Still, the font on tabs and some menus looks strange, and the problem with buttons and menus keeps happening.

I don't really know what else to do

i have no sound in firefox ,while other applications and edge or chrome give me normal sound.It ia no muted ,checked the volume mixer everything should be working but no sound

Webpages don't open on Firefox and a link is clicked (for example, a link in an email). This problem does not happen when using another browser. I followed the advice given to someone who had the same problem. Switching to "No proxy" as suggested did not correct the problem. The advice was from zeroknight and is pasted below: zeroknight 12/1/23, 1:28 AM more options The browser settings are in the menu that looks like three horizontal bars (≡). From there, go into Connection Settings and change "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy".

Refreshing Firefox did not correct the problem

Please view screen captures that best show the random issues I have with Firefox browser. This started a few months ago on my desk top PC. I have kept my Firefox up to date using 147.0.1. and still run WIN 10 Home. Although I am sure Linux is in my future!

The issue happens randomly where the top row of my browser disappears off my screen. I can work around the issue no problem but would like to know and understand the issue and if I can resolve it from happening. Firefox is the only app I have this issue with. And it is random and cannot be forced, I have tried....

I am running Windows 10 on a desktop pc. I have Firefox for Windows 148.0. I am editing a website on Joomla 5.4.3. To edit pages in Joomla, I use the TinyMCE editor. Since today, whenever I open a page in the editor, the editor keeps reloading constantly which renders the editing impossible. After I close the editor, the browser seems to lag for 5 to 10 seconds, before returning back to its normal, problem-free behaviour. This behaviour is only happening in the Firefox browser, not in others on the desktop.

I switched to my Macbook, which still had Firefox for iOS 147.0.4 running. There the above mentioned behaviour didn't occur. But when I updated Firefox for iOS to 148.0 the behaviour did start to occur.

So, I guess it is a bug in version 148.0? How can this problem be fixed?

Hi - I am getting the following error while seaching "An error occurred during a connection to onlinetripquest.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR" I am still on Windows 10. Could it be do to that? If so how do I fix this issue without migrating to WIndows 11. Not ready to move. Do not have this issue with other browsers.

Can someone please tell me how to change the hours for my business website that comes up on a search with firefox? I have changed the hours everywhere else, my google profile, facebook, yelp. Where is firefox getting this data and how so I change it??? my website is soluna massage (location louisivlle ky). When someone searches "soluna massage" in firefox, firefox gives data that is incorrect about my business, specifically the hours. Please help!
