The past few days when i've tried searching for certain pages i go to all the time they won't show up under "firefox suggest" then when i check my history for them the pages are just completely gone, today i checked my history for yesterday and even though i started browsing at 8:00 the history only went back to around 13:00 with all the pages before that completely gone, this also causes me to lose all the cookies as well.

Hi, As of 2 days ago I am unable to load the above site in Firefox. I have a Windows 11 PC, a Linux Mint PC and an Android phone. It won't load on any of them but works fine in Chrome. I have cleared the cache and site data. Any assistance would be appreciated.

All of a sudden, I can no longer open new tabs in Firefox just by clicking the top bar (sorry, don't know how to describe this: the space that sits just below the line with 'File', 'Edit', 'View', 'History', etc. (Menu bar?) Formerly, when I had a tab open I used to be able just to click that line and a new tab would open. To open a new tab now I have to look to the right of the screen, and press the '+' button (Open a new tab Control+ 1) that appears in that same area just below the that is there. Not nearly as convenient. Please tell me how to fix this as simply as possible (I am not very computer literate). I have done nothing to change anything in the Firefox settings, so don't know why this happened all of a sudden. Very frustrating. My bookmarks all disappeared too, by the way, thoughI figured out how to resstore them to top of screen. I am using Windows 10 Thanks in advance, A frustrated Cynthia

Dear Team. As always thanks for a great browser... I had a Firefox update come through this morning (through the browser prompt). After installing the update the pc became extremely sluggish. Thought it may need a restart so restarted the pc but pretty much the same issue? Slow, delayed and sluggish.

I checked what was running in the back ground and other than the usual microsoft nonsense and background stuff it showed 30 instances of Firefox running taking up 82% of the memory. I always have one browser with 8 tabs running by default.

I'm running an i7 processor with 8gig of ram which should be more than ample. Any thoughts / ideas would be most welcome. Once again, thanks for the best browser....

I recently switched to Firefox and so far I am loving it. I'm having one issue though. I sell items on Ebay for a living and when I am filling out the field for "item specifics" every time I enter the field the magnifying glass icon is overlapping the text field, and it blocks the first couple letters I type. I'll provide a screenshot below. I've tried everything to fix it but I'm basically out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm fine with removing the magnifying glass icon all together or just having it position correctly.

Some files appeared on my Desktop folder. when i erased them my Tabs and profile got deleted. then when i log in my profile the Files return on the Desktop folder.

my problem is why is this happening?. Firefox was installed on default installation drive, and it has been 8 months or more but only now this is happening.

i don't tweak anything on this browser, just browsing and consuming content.

Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed tab is checked so it should delete cookies, but it doesn't, and when I click on manage data there are still cookies etc. How can I make this automatically delete?

Hello there, Iam facing a problem with changing Firefox homepage background. I tried every solution, tutorial, oldposts etc. nothing seems to work, here is what I tried. -1- The chrome folder is in the right folder. -2- the naming of both CSS files userChrome, userContent. -3- enabled CSS files at startup -4- search for both CSS files in the browser toolbox for some reason I cannot find both CSS files, even though they are in the chrome directory. Also, I have 2 chrome folders one of them is located here. "AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\shaf5qn0.default-release\storage\permanent\chrome" the other one I created myself which is here "AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\shaf5qn0.default-release\chrome" I tried to delete the first one but I cant, I get an error that this file is being used even though I did close Firefox. What I am missing here?

Problem that's been going on for MONTHS now - when I use the bookmark manager to sort out my bookmarks, it will often 'drop' them a few lines above or below where I wanted to place them. Trying to move the misplaced bookmarks just means chasing them around the page with them NOT going where I want them, and often moving other bookmarks OUT of place. The only workaround I've found is to kill the manager and reopen it - but this often has to be done SEVERAL times to fix the problem, and it can happen again minutes later on another bookmark. Given I had to give up on the drop down bookmark toolbar because it reverts to the top of the list EVERY TIME I try to use it, I have been using the manager to access everything. The fact that it also doesn't work correctly is making me INCREDIBLY frustrated with your product. Do you have a fix, or should I ditch Firefox and find a better browser?

When I select a link in an email, it opens op Edge, rather than Firefox. This just started happening today. I have followed multiple options for making Firefox my default Browser, but nothing seems to work. I am using Windows 11 Home Addition. Thank You!

When attempting to access http://www.psc.state.wv.us/ I get the following message "You do not have permission to view this directory or page." I was able to access before last nights update to 122.0 (64-bit).

I get errors when importing my bookmarks from one laptop to another. I've tried importing HTML file and restoring from JSON file multiple times with multiple files. The bookmarks are not saved in any folder including the "imported bookmarks" folder. This is frustrating... Could you please help with this simple task?

After the 122.0 update was installed firefox will not allow pictures to be added to facebook. The picture never completes transferring. It starts and then stops with only a minimal partial transfer.. It works on other web browsers like explorer.

Help!!! After using this profile to sign in here to ask a question yesterday, upon restarting Firefox today it has deleted my entire login history, cookies and all passwords. However, when I go to recover these, the only default profile I can find when I do an "about:profiles" is one that is five years old.

I can literally no longer access any of the sites I use because al of the logins are gone.

Help! How do I get all my data back? My life is over if I cannot access any of my business sites, emails, Paypal, Amazon accounts or anything.

While trying to add my existing bookmarks (from previous computer) I get message - SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT

Please tell me what to do. I cannot find any reference to this message.

I wish to re-install my Old Firefox Data to my restored Win 10 computer Firefox browser bookmarks. There was no link given to migrate this info held in our MS OneDrive folder (as listed on the Desktop).

Last year in February MS crashed my Chrome browser. I could not re-install that, but could download and install Firefox. Now the MS auto updates began to trashed our Internet Win 10 system in late December. Everyone is being herded into the train's automobile cars haulers so they can back us into a lake...

I've been having this problem for some time, and it's honestly annoying me so much that I'm ready to pitch Firefox and badmouth it all over the Internet. Every single time I attempt to access the File Save or Open dialogues boxes from Firefox, as is necessary when uploading or downloading and image file, Windows Explorer (Windows 11) crashes.

There is no evidence of this in the system logs, but it's obvious that Explorer is crashing and relaunching, as evidenced by the disappearance and reappearance of the Taskbar, during which Firefox becomes completely unresponsive. This is dramatically slowing down my workflow to the point where it makes Firefox frankly unusable for most daily tasks.

The problem still exists when I remove all extensions from Firefox. The problem still exists when I restart the machine. The problem does *not* exist when I start Firefox in Safe Mode, but this is obviously not a workable solution. The problem does *not* occur with any other software, only Firefox. I am running Firefox 122.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Professional 22H2 Build 22621.3007, but the problem has been occurring for a long time, months. The system is a Gigabyte Z690 UD AX with an Intel Core i5-12600K, 32 GB DDR5 PC4800 RAM, and a Samsung 980 Pro 500 GB NVMe SSD.
