I keep the "Recommended by Pocket" section collapsed throughout most of the workday to prevent distractions when opening new tabs. Recently I've found the section can't be collapsed anymore. I know that I can disable Pocket on the homepage, but I don't want to do that. I still want it available for me to take breaks or when I'm finishing up with something. The collapse feature was ideal for me.

This may sound petty, but it's a real issue. I would rather stop using Pocket than let it distract me all day. I could write a bookmarklet to deal with it, but not everyone has that option.

Is there still any way to toggle this section? If not, why was this feature removed, and can this feature be brought back?

Here are an examples using one site: [Image 1] is Firefox's default 100% zoom. Note the flushed text at the left margin. Ideally, it should look like [Image 2], however, that was zoomed down to 90% where the text body also shrinks along with it and making reading a tad harder. Obviously, not the best solution. [Image 3] is the same site on Safari. [Image 4] is taken from Palemoon. [Image 5] is reddit.com's comment page, again with the unsightly margin problem.

Any ideas how to fix this? Would really appreciate any troubleshooting tips.

How do I disable the login prompt for Password? I was on the phone troubleshooting a site I was having problems logging into, and the login for Password kept popping up every few seconds. Even after canceling it would pop up again after a few. I did not want to log into Password because the previous saved username/password would mess up the troubleshooting.

Every time I close and reopen, NOTHING IS SAVED. I read and tried out all the troubleshooting methods of restoring my data, but for some reason nothing works, once I close and reopen.

Hello,

I have attempted to follow the import steps, select the three lines (top right corner) > Passwords > Click on the three dots (right hand corner) > Import from another Browser > Safari. However, it only shows the Bookmark data to import. I would appreciate any input on how to import the login and password data from Safari to Firefox, please.

hi,

Maybe someone had the same problem, I use two security option outside of Firefox: 1. /etc/hosts file, all the site that I do not want to allow my machine to interact with; source: https://github.com/StevenBlack/ 2. VPNs anti tracking scripts

I use a mac, Mac OS 11.6 Firefox 93.0

With all the two security option enabled, Safari works fine, TOR works fine, Firefox has massive issues with loading pages speed. Some of the Firefox settings: Network Settings: the DNS over HTTPS is OFF, as I am using a VPN Privacy and Security: set to standard, but there is no difference is loading speed when switching to strict Extensions: I use 1password, multi account containers and user agent switcher; no difference is loading speed if I disable or remove all extensions

Any idea why is Firefox loading page speed effected?

Many Thanks Michael

I am unable to access the options in the menu on the right. I did find adjustable options from the menu bar print options but they didn't change in this window. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

I've been trying all day to get to Amazon. No go. I've checked here, and found old threads about this problem. I've tried what was suggested in them, but still not able to open Amazon. There was another site that I could not open, also, with the same error message, but I cannot now recall what that site was.

Please help! I need to check on an order from Amazon that I placed just yesterday.

What is the last Firefox version that works with MAC Lion OS X 10.7.5?

I have a study program of that vintage that plugs into firefox and the version on the computer now is 3.0.10 (from year 2009 and the program does not work with it.

The program is compatible with Lion OS X 10.7.5 but the Firefox version is too old.

The version 3.0.10 on the computer does not work well with most sites or crashes. The intent is not to expect to browse, just be new enough for this program for its dedicated use.

When I go to Truist.com, my recently merged bank, it remembers my userid OK, but fills in the password field with about 200 random ASCII characters. I tried to delete and re-establish the saved password, but Firefox either gets messes it up or more likely the web site messes it up. The result is that the true saved password in lost and the ASCII rubbish re-appears.

Work-around is to not let Firefox save the password for this site. It works A-OK with the other 150 or so passwords. Check out the screen shot attached.

Luv Firefox, even donate once in a while.

Thank you,

I started using the Firefox Relay extension and shortly after, I could no longer login to my Weebly website. So I deactivated the Relay extension and I still could not login. I then tried logging in with Safari and there was no problem. I suspect it has something to do with the relay extension, but I have no idea if this is the problem or if it is something else. However, when the extension is activated, the login name disappears off to the left of the "box" where you put the login name in. The message I get is "wrong login name". When I deactivate the extension, the login name no longer moves off to the left in the box, but I still get the error message. Regardless, now I cannot login to Weebly with Firefox!
