Hi, I have been using Ubuntu Mate, for some time now, since the latest installed versions, Firefox is unable to print the invoices generated by the revenue agencies site. The print is generated empty, it only shows the details of the site and some accessory data at the top. I tried to install an old version, 78, if I remember correctly, and the prints are fine. I tried with another browser and the printouts are correct, again. Does it happen to you too?

When I print out a multi-page description of a specific mutual fund, Firefox just omits in the middle of the printout several sections of information, without even leaving blank spaces for the omissions. If I go over to Edge for the same page, the printout is complete and perfect. This has been my long-term experience of Firefox compared to other major browsers. I have already implemented all of the advice on good printouts on Firefox, margins and other settings and so forth. When I posted about this issue perhaps two years ago, someone posted back that Firefox had never been designed to be a complete browser, and that printing had never been fully developed. I cannot know if that is a true statement, but I can say it fits the facts as I experience them. I remain puzzled as to why Firefox would ignore major printing issues to this degree, unless there is just some internal viewpoint that printing is wasteful and rarely really needed. If I want to look at five mutual funds, I want to print out their basics and spread those printouts on the table and look at all five at once. The computer screen has a limited space and does not well allow for that, not in a time-effective way. Printing in moderation is very useful and important. MY QUESTION: Will Firefox ever be made competitive with Edge and Chrome on the printing function?

YouTube works in all other browsers. I have restarted Firefox, uninstalled it and reinstalled fresh, nothing seems to work. Disabling addons does nothing. When I go to watch a video, I press the play button, the video loads sluggishly, and when loading is finished, before the video starts, I get "An error occured. Please try again later. (Playback ID: _______)". Vimeo works fine, but some news sites have the same issue. I have also tried just signing out of YouTube, and that does not work either.

Due to printer software I am forced to migrate family laptop from linux mint to windows 10 Both systems use version 82.0 (64bit), firefox just got installed on fresh windows 10 install, I opened it browsed a little to create history files and closed to swap it with linux history/passwords/tabs/bookmarks But in windows 10 firefox seem to have different file structure, and didn't recognize old version Have file structure changed or there are steps I missed or (unlikely) I messed up with file location, main mozilla/firefox folder path is still there

Will online synchronization of firefox just be as good as hard file copy from one system from another? I think this might be easiest, yet not perfect solution

In settings I've found font settings. My default font is DejaVu (Serif, Sans, Mono)

After changing font (type and size) noting is going on. Even after restart. I disabled option to let wep pages set their own font.

The most important thing for me is to have working "Minimal font size".

To sum up. I can change everything in advanced font settings but there is no result on web pages.

This problem occurred Oct 24, 2020 Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (3 weeks after daylight savings time came into effect here). The operating system time is correct. I have cleared the cache several times, rebooted and shut down overnight.

A forum site is displaying the correct times. A site displaying weather information uses the correct time; I loaded it just after 3am and the first time it displayed was 6am as expected.

1. A TV guide normally highlights in red programs currently showing; at present it shows programs showing one hour previously. In Google-Chrome no programs are highlighted. I have removed the cookies and that has made no difference. 2. Facebook.com times are one hour late, both the time of posts in the newsfeed and times of notifications.

My bookmarks and history are gone. There is a red banner across the top, which reads, "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." No matter what I do, I can't seem to get either fixed.
