I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I'm trying to use multi-account containers to use twitter and other sites from accounts unique to the container.

For twitter, if I select a container, a new tab opens with the twitter login page in that container. If I try to login, another tab opens in that container, with the login page. So, I can never log in.

Is there a solution?

I have prompt in Firefox that says "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". I've done a bit of a google and appears to be anti-virus related which I don't have any installed.

Certificates ImportEnterpriseRoots is also set to true.

What would be causing this?

When opening Firefox for the first time after turning system on for the day, Firefox has for some reason opening a separate window With this address: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/avg-online-security/?src=external-app-newtab-store I do use AVG as my anti-viral program but am not interested in using this add-on. I have looked in Firefox setting, and can see no way to stop it. Do you have any ideas, PLEASE? I will try to add a screenshot of the screen for you to view, if that helps!! THANK you!!

Just recently I have noticed that the Closed Caption is way out of sync when streaming Prime movies on my PC. CC works fine in Edge, but not Firefox. Looking for some things to try to fix this.

When clicking on a redirect (Get recipe) to a new tab in the Bon Appetite site, Firefox causes a BSOD. No other browser does this. ver 113.2 64 Bit. (Reinstalled) No extensions in effect. Computer: I9 with 32 gigs DDR4 and terabytes of open space. Graphics: Radeon RX 580 - 8G All drivers up to date. VRam tested with OCCT

The big thing here is, NO other browser has this issue. I have whittled down system error logs to only DCom and LSA errors.

Any real help would be appreciated!

Ever since the most recent update to Firefox I consistently get the following message when attempting to login to https sites which I have been connecting to for years: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.att.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code:PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Clearly the problem is with Firefox and not with the website owner since it occurs with all websites.

I found over 100 instances of PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR but the few responses I looked at were back in 2021 or 2022. One solution suggested clearing the cache which I did and I was then able to connect. But now that does not help. Is my only reliable solution to delete Firefox and use some inferior browser?

Is there any way to keep an older version of Firefox without its getting upgraded all the time? Version 99 only has a small header at the top, so there is still space on my screen to see the website I'm trying to see. The newer versions (100 and newer) take up too much space on my screen. Every site has its own headers, and so I am left with about an inch of working space. That's really not enough to see anything.

Is there a way to get the security updates without the new look? Is there a Firefox Light version available, with minimal headers and all? I prefer Firefox, and would love to keep it. Having to reinstall it (to get the older version back) several times a week is not good.

When I try to access my Etrade account the connection fails. Sometimes I can reach the log in page but cannot log on, Usually, I can't even access ETrade. I can log on using Microsoft Edge but not with Mozzilla,

Recently , I would say within the last month or so, all the sudden when a site asks for my username and password I cannot use autofill. With Firefox as the auto fill provider or a 3rd part tool password program like Biwarden. For a while this worked like a charm but what happens is this username and password fields come up on a webpage. At the bottom I see firefoxes prompt and Bitwardens prompt to select a username. I can do this in both but when I click on the username nothing happens. I have uninstalled both and reinstalled made each a provider etc... This does not happen with Chrome

This feature and this feature alone has me thinking of just leaving Firefox first the revamp with mobile. Got used to it, now this, sorry but this is a deal breaker.

I am using a OnePlus n10 5g on Metro. Updated as updated can get I am at a loss here but auto fill has be ome useless in Firefox.

The YouTube videos load in troubleshoot mode, so I reopened Firefox and disabled all extensions. That did not help, so I uninstall all extensions. That does not work either. Other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

when i go to Facebook i continue to get network errs and also in Facebook I keep getting something went wrong reload the page. I have disabled and deleted some add ons an even tried in trouble shoot mode and still i get it. I have tried every thing i know how even refreshed Firefox. I do not get it in Chrome and it has much of the same add ons or extensions. I tried to send a report to Facebook but you know how that goes.It is getting annoying Not sure if it Facebook and Firefox or just Facebook . But if ti is not happening in Chrome or edge that leads me to come to the conclusion it is Firefox

Have not been able to log on to a few sites (all financial base: bank etc) since approx April 2023 Have done all the dirty dozen: cache/update FF/reset/ disabled ad blocks etc.) and still no luck: had to revert back (after about 10 years) to safari (ugh) scoured back in archives for similar problems but found no answer. Does anyone have any idea? (i have not upgraded my mac os 10.14.06 and require itunes to remain) Thanks
