I accidentally used wrong disk when downloading a big file. So my primary disk, where I'm running OS became 100% full. Then I removed this big file, checked that disk is not full anymore, and tried to download again, this time choosing the right disk, but now the Firefox internal file browser, where we open files, and select folder to download is broken, pointing wrong location when selecting disk/folders. I tried restarting OS, reinstalling firefox, but it's internal file browser is still broken. In Chrome it's ok, in system file explorer is ok, problem occur only with Firefox. I'm using Pop!_OS 22.04.

Is there a way I can reset this internal file browser to work properly again?

Hello, I bought a new acer laptop that has only installed by default Microsoft edge. Now, It seems that I can't see how to download and install Firefox as my browser by default. It seems that Firefox is not supported by Microsoft edge browser. I need my Firefox browser to my new laptop. I need help please.

Is there a way for me to retrieve my bookmarks? They have followed me through several macbooks, and reinstallations and this is the first time they've gone missing.

Hi, my 2008 Mac Pro uses OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.6 and I am on Firefox 78.15.0esr, I cannot install the new upgrade. Can I continue using the older version of Firefox even though the sync will not work anymore?

There was a hardware problem with my iMac; the Apple Store fixed it and in the process wiped the disk and reinstalled Ventura. I then restored from Time Machine. Most things work, but Firefox is one that doesn't. It will not open. If I click the Firefox icon in the Dock, it looks like it's going to open --- the icon moves to the right and bounces back --- (something similar happens if I click on the app in the Applications list), and then Firefox fails to open. No error message or anything. Firefox is still opens on my iPad and iPhone. Would it be of any use to reinstall Firefox? Would the new installation automatically find my Bookmarks and sync with the iPad and iPhone?

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. I have been using Firefox for quite some time. Suddenly it stopped working on my computer, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I keep getting a message that there is a problem with the download and installation. Can anyone help? I made a download 10 months ago, it failed OK.

But every other week that same old download keeps on restarting and failing.. its some kindof bug.

It then piles up with all failed downloads from the last year and they all try to load again and again automatically.

I tried to reinstall firefox and all but its a weird bug.

I have screenshots if needed.
