After recent update bookmarks disappeared. When I restore them and then close firefox developer edition the bookmarks toolbar is gone again. It seems like a bug in that recent update. Please advise.

12/12/24 - netflix says i need to upgrade firefox browser in order to watch vis, but running MOST current version (115.18.0esr). Mac OS 10.12.6 . need help fixing issue. thanks

After the most recent update of FF on Mac OS Sequoia, suddenly I am no longer able to login to either of my routers, because they require http and FF keeps forcing https.

This results in no login gui but instead an ‘unable to connect’ error message.

I have researched and tried every conceivable fix and nothing works (settings, about:config, cookies, cache, all of it.

I would have expected that simply adding exceptions in settings would work, but it simply doesn’t.

I can login via Safari, so this is clearly a FF issue. It even happens in Safe Mode.

Kind of at my wits end. Anyone have a fix.

My computer does not support the latest firefox software update so i was wondering if you can send me me the firefox 115.0 version firefox softare? I tried to search for it online but i wasn't able to find any because the software i have for firefox now won't let me open some pages on websites because i have a old version firefox software. So please send me the 115.0 version software so that i can download and update my firefox software. Thank you

After accidentally closing firefox I could not restore my last session after going to. history because the restotre tab was not there. Only recently closed tabs and recently closed windows and search history was there. I also had the box sent in setting to restore last session but it did not do that either. Am I missing something. Sorting through all the history would take quite a bit of time. I am on a macbook with sequoia ios.

I have over 100 open tabs spread over 4 Mac desktops. I can no longer access ANY of them after upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26 and installing ESET Cyber Security Pro. I've used ESET with Firefox for many years without ANY problems. But now I have to choose between uninstalling ESET and being unprotected in order to use Firefox AT ALL. Every single webpage is blacked out with the message below. ESET support says that Firefox needs to issue an update to fix this problem.

I'm trying to configure Firefox on Mac using our MDM. The goal is ultimately to control a bunch of settings, but I'm trying to start simple by just installing the 1Password extension.

When I deploy this .mobileconfig file, nothing seems to happen to Firefox. I made this by following the example at https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/mac/org.mozilla.firefox.plist but it doesn't seem to work and I am not sure how to debug.

How should I fix the frozen browser. Firefox updated ok from another user account on this computer, though Firefox has always updated for all accounts on the computer when updated from any of the accounts. The installer tool got caught in a loop to install until it froze the browser on the third retry. What should I do?

Hi, I installed the latest iOS update yesterday and afterwards my firefox was mush. I tried reinstalling it already. The symptoms are as following: - can no longer use my 1password extension - YouTube and LinkedIn doesn't load at all anymore - For my agency tool Moco I can see most of the page but the menu is totally hidden to me...

I am running an iMac that is about eight years old.This afternoon my Firefox browser was taken over by a "warning" from "MacOS security center" that I should go to THEIR macOS support site to get my system unfrozen. The number they give is 1-877-xxx-xxxx. I cannot get this intruder to go away, even by restarting the computer.

I have just installed Firefox on a new iMac, running MacOS 15.2. Firefox will not load any of the websites I have tried, whereas Safari and Chrome do. I have cleared the History and also set "No proxy" but loading still fails.

Firefox is stuck in a loop! After installing the 145 update, it just keeps asking me to sign into with my admin credentials to install "a new helper tool" over and over. After entering my password nothing happens and when I try to relaunch, the FF icon just bounces. ("Force Quit" shows that the application is not responding.) After multiple attempts, I rebooted my laptop, but it didn't help, as I still get the request for installing the helper too. I'm in the midst of multiple project deadlines and this is very frustrating! Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, After the last MacBook Pro M4 update my tabs keep disappearing. This is quite ANNOYING as I use ALL my tabs. Plus when I go to HISTORY there is NO Restore Previous session...so I am losing EVERYTHING. Do I just need to go out to another browser and make them my default? I can find NO help when I go out to your support for my problem. Thank you, Patty

So, I just now installed Firefox and now I want to change the background of the home page (new tab), the same way you would do in chrome. I did some research and created a chrome folder and a chromeContent.css file in there.

neither of those worked, even though I'm pretty sure I followed all of the instructions correctly. help please, will be greatly appreciated (i don't know if i chose the correct topic)

I have downloaded and deleted Firefox a dozen times and history and cache and still it is not allowing me to have the Chose User Profile to pop up

I have been trying for the last 2 days to get the Firefox -Choose User Profile to come up and each time I add the below in the terminal

/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/Firefox-bin -P

I get

So it states no such file or directory when Firefox is definately in the Applications folder

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you in advance

Regardless of website Accordion controls don't work / open to show information. These controls work fine in other browsers and work fine on the same sites. Is there a setting I am missing. it also works on other macs I own. Thanks

I want to download and install Firefox on my new iMac. As administrator it downloads but the instellation won't run. As a user it downloads and I can move the icon into the application folder. Firefox then opens but it won't run. Everything is frozen. What is going on??
