Since a week or two my Firefox tabs are crashing more and more often. At work on MacBook and at home on PC.

Deleting the cache and cookies and even starting in Safe Mode are not helping - in fact while writing this very message had 5 crashes meanwhile!

Since a few days, it is not possible to copy-and-paste any external text or content into the text field of WhatApp Web on Firefox. It works fine on Chrome. Also text manually copied from a previous WA message can be pasted.

We tried on other PCs with Firefox and Chrome, same situation. So it seems to be a problem of Firefox latest version.

I use WhatsApp in a Firefox web window so that I can copy, paste, and type using my keyboard. Suddenly beginning last week Firefox will not let me paste in the WhatsApp web window.

dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled is TRUE I still have the same issue in safe mode Ctrl-V, Shift insert, Right click & Paste, Right click & paste without formatting are all disabled.

It is only Firefox that has a problem (I can use WhatsApp in Chrome without issue). So far, it is only in WhatsApp (where paste is most important to me) that I have a problem.

I have Firefox 116.0.3 64 bit, the latest version, running in Windows 11, which is up to date.

Any ideas?

Hi, I'm using 116.0.3 (64-bit) Firefox, everything works perfectly except it takes so much time to start to load a page. For example, if I'm entering Google homepage it takes about 6-10 seconds just to start loading and then loads very quickly the page. Sometimes it does load it normally and very quickly but is not often. I love Firefox and I don't want to replace it, in Chrome it works fine. Please help me to find a solution. The problem started about 2-3 weeks ago. Thank you very much!

This is what I tried: -Using Safe Mode and Troubleshoot mode didn't change anything - Removing all the extensions - Deleting history, cache and cookies (using JV16 or PrivaZer or built in Firefox settings) - Refreshing Firefox - Deleting with JV16 to remove everything that is related to Firefox and reinstalling from the official site. - Disabling Hardware Acceleration - Disabling DNS Prefetch - Changing DNS (1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or default by supplier) - Using custom config settings following this guide: ("Make Firefox fast again")

I know I could use an addon like RunWith to download files to the Downloads folder without it asking where to save them, but I want files downloaded through Firefox the official way. I have “Always ask where to save files” unchecked in settings, but that doesn’t do anything.

I was not able to download FireFox from browser so downloaded the app from microsoft store and I cant add add-ons it shows download failed check your connection but i have 5g internet, I also used mobile data to ensure download but no results

Hi. I have a Mac running Ventura. I have done a fair amount of searching but can't seem to find instructions on how to add extension shortcuts to the toolbar. I feel stupid asking this question as I have added them previoulsy but just don't remember how it was done.

8/18/2023 1340 Firefox ver 116.0.3 64 bit Keeper ver 16.6.0

I am still unable to use Keeper Ext. When I go to sign on screen for any of my saved websites, place the mouse in the sign on screen, nothing comes up for me to click on as before. On automated sights, nothing happens either. Can you advise estimated completion time?

2 days ago I lost the ability to copy and paste a foto or image into my whatsapp using firefox. Then tonight I lost the ability to also copy and paste from the google translator to whatsapp using firefox. As much as I hate to I went to my Microsoft Edge browser and both images and copying pasting text worked. So unfortunately it is definitely a firefox browser issue. I hope someone can resolve this soon! So I can return to using firefox. Thanks!

I am a very long-term user of Firefox. I have a newish windows laptop and I use the hibernate function when I want to start and stop a windows session. I have been using windows 11 for a good while now without any problem, but about 6 weeks ago I started to get a new problem - Firefox now can take up to 4 minutes to load or reload a page after hibernation. The length of time to reconnect time varies. This only affects Firefox. There is no problem with my internet - other programmes and apps load immediately, and at the same time as Firefox is still trying to load a page/any page I haven't added any new add-ons and can't think of anything I've done that could cause this issue. I thought this would be a windows 11 issue caused after an update, but after a bit of searching on Google, Reddit and Mozilla Help/ I can't find anyone else with a similar problem.

Firefox is crashing for multiple users on Windows Server 2012 R2. I notice the websites sometimes are very to slow to load before it happens. I have pasted one of the crash reports below. I have a slight problem. I'm currently using Firefox 116.0.3 and it seems that it can't update. The automatic updating will run, and then it will fail (this is all the time when using Firefox). It will recommend me to download the newest version from the website, but then the CDN will and I will be presented with the "connection was reset" error. This happens both on my Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines. Both are running Firefox 116.0.3.

Funnily enough I tried to see if I could download the newest version on Edge (Chromium), which it could but the version I got from the website was the same version I have now. I wonder if this is something to do with my region as I'm based in China and I'm aware that some software can have...problems.

Also, when trying to download version 122.0, it is fantastically slow and will often fail to complete.

Is there anything that could be suggested as I really don't want to use Edge.

Whenever viewing 'any' DRM content protected with widevine plugin, the plugin simply crashes. I've gone over some Ubuntu related solutions that don't apply to windows, not sure how to fix this.

I have latest everything and no incompatibilities with any software/thing until now with this: Firefox 116.0.3 (64-bit) (20230815173142) Windows 10 x64 latest Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc. File: 4.10.2557.0

I've deleted all the Widevine folders and had Firefox re-install the folders/files for me automatically, same issue occurs.

There's no other information, I just clicked send crash report. It started happening some time late in 2022.

Cut /copy and paste, nightmare!!!

what is going on? Cut / copy and paste should be easy, its not. Open a new tab, google homepage, and unable to paste the item I had just copied from another tab, it will only work when I go back to original and recopy? Too time consuming this issue.

I am using firefox in macbook pro m2 13 inch with mac os ventura and when I try to access the localhost name in firefox I got 404 response . How can I fix it ? (Note: I am using homebrew package manager httpd service)

I want the version (which i assume is the ESR one) OFF my computer. I have downloaded a "regular version" (116.0.3) and have followed all instructions I have found on this site. It gets to a point and says it can't find the file. There is no README or Install file in the download so I am stuck. Please help me because I want the ESR version GONE!!! Thanks for any help! R

I have the add-on Tab Stats. This lists and groups tabs by unique domain or unique URL listing duplicates in a separate sub-tree. On each url item there is listed the last access date/time.

Is it possible to get a list and group tabs by last accessed date? I've put in a request on the extension for this feature - New tree - List by age exponentially but the authors appear inactive and unresponsive.

What is the best way to encourage development of this feature if not available in pre-existing extension or feature (which is preferred of course)?
