Can't give the websites as there are too many but some are pitchsidemanager.com, hattrick.org, skysports.com and sportinglife.com . Just four of at least 14 give the Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site message. I use No Proxy and have my anti-virus turned off when I get the message. I have tried various other proxy settings but the same thing happens. The thing is that I have to keep refreshing the page until it does actually connect and that can take a good few minutes. Sometimes I have to restart the browser. Why is this happening since the last few updates?

This has happened a few times before after a Firefox update, but the most recent occurrence was after the update to version 117.0.1. My mouse wheel will not scroll in the bookmarks drop down menu, I have to use the up and down arrows in the drop down menu which is very slow. When the scroll wheel did work in the past, I could be scrolling and then move the cursor to the up or down arrows and scroll even faster still using the scroll wheel and get to the folder I want a lot quicker. The scroll wheel works normally while scrolling through webpages, the only place it doesn't scroll is the bookmarks drop down menu. I'm running Firefox version 117.0.1 (64 bit) on a Windows 10 notebook PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

In Firefox, the mouse becomes partially unresponsive to elements in the browser and on web pages. This happens after 15-30 minutes after starting up the browser. Common symptoms include:

- Unable to drag and drop elements properly, including text after highlighting it. - Sometimes, the mouse continues to hold elements while dragging. Pressing ESC temporarily fixes this. - Dropdown menus on websites do not drop down when hoovering over them - Other items on websites don't display items when hoovering over them

I have tried:

- Different mouses, including my laptop's trackpad - A Firefox fork, namely Waterfox, but it still occurs - Limited testing with other browsers. No problem occurs - Limited testing on desktop. No problem occurs - Entering Troubleshooting Mode on Firefox - Clearing cookies and cache - Reinstall Firefox (including installing from command line instead of the snap store) - Updated Firefox - Refreshed Firefox - About:Processes doesn't show anything using more than 10-15% of CPU at any one time - Limited testing with a new Firefox profile. No problem occurs - Disabled WebGL and Hardware Acceleration.

Temporary fix: Restarting Firefox, but the problem re-occurs shortly after use.

Using Ubuntu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got a notice that Firefox (and Thunderbird) were updated this morning. Took me an HOUR to find out how to make the miniscule font in my inbox larger. So.. suddenly, new problem.

When I click the Firefox icon to launch the browser, and reopen my tabs, It opens for a millisecond, then closes faster than I can try to read if there is an error. When I click it AGAIN, all my tabs are GONE and I have to search for them manually, which is a royal pain.

Why is this happening? How can I stop it from happening? This is annoying as hell.

My Firefox browser automatically updated a few days ago. Since the update, the browser now crashes repeatedly during basic browsing, making Firefox essentially unusable. For instance, retrieving Yahoo mail, reading articles, accessing login pages -- the page will enter some type of refresh/reload cycle and crash the browser.

I opened the browser in troubleshoot mode and the problem did not occur. Following the Mozilla instructions, I disabled extensions and reopened the browser normally, and the crashes continued. I have not taken any additional actions.

This problem began immediately after the latest browser update on 9/13.

Few days ago, some of our clients and few (not all) internal PC are get stucked on a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR on our website. Only on 117 windows version (118 developer version and 119 nightly seems ok). We tried to repair firefox, it works on 95% but we can't ask our client to do this. It works on Chrome & Edge.

We running out of ideas : - we only accept TLS 1.2 / 1.3 - checking CSP - Both IIS and Apache are not working - Firewall are not blocking

Dear Firefox Support,

as an Manager Service Provider I use Firefox on a daily basis to access our management platforms. Just recently one of our providers launched an new platform to submit supporttickets, get information and sorts.

The issue I am facing is the following:

  • start Firefox in Normal Mode
  • login URL is https://me.n-able.com/s/sso-login
  • upon entering my credentials and 2FA (which are 100% correct) I am presented with an error from SalesForce stating 'We can’t log you in because of an authentication error.'

When I start Firefox in either Incognito Mode or Troubleshoot Mode and following exactly the same process there is no issue all.

Of course I checked add-ons and extensions:

  • between Normal and Incognito there is no difference
  • between Normal and Troubleshoot I so no differences also

Please advise

Never had this issue, and have been using the same firefox account for like 5 years.

I've been having an issue for a while now where the cloudflare challenges that ask you to click the check mark to "verify your connection is secure" would just endlessly ask me to click the button and never continue. Sometimes it would say to unblock access to challenges.cloudflare.com.

But if I a launch an incognito window I can visit website with the challenge and it won't even ask! I've added all my extensions to run in incognito mode and everything still works, I can visit the websites in incognito just fine. So the one changing variable is incognito vs non-incognito.

I can have two windows open, one incognito and one not, and browse to the same website and the non-incog window will fail but the incog will just go to the site.

I thought incognito was supposed to only affect the session storage? Does it silently change other things to the running environment of the browser (about:config options, slightly different extension configs)?

Anyone know why this small change would suddenly allow cloudflare challenges to work?

Is there a main location where Firefox extensions (like Forecastfox) keep their settings? If so, or if you happen to know where Forecastfox in particular keeps its settings, I could use some help locating this folder. I started getting screen flashes and then identifying pop up windows that go to adform dot com addresses, that are blocked on my computer so nothing other than a error shows up. Its annoying and random. I have checked security page and it says Block pop-up windows and this is blocked. Two exemptions are there which are acceptable. I have run virus checks on Bitdefender and Malwarebytes (Latest versions update) nothing is reported. - What is causing this and how do I stop it? After opening up the hidden window that flashes it tries different pages all fail then eventually the pop up window closes on its own.

Using latest version of Firefox browser 117.0.1 (64 bit) Don't get the pop ups on Google Chrome.

I have the same issue that was reported here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1358340 and here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1409149

After a Firefox restart for a version upgrade, there are 8 windows listed in the Windows menu, but only 4 are visible. Trying to select one of the invisible windows from the window menu, or cycling through open windows with cmd-` displays nothing. I tried checking other desktops to see if the windows had landed there, but they're not. The missing windows don't show up in Mission Control.

I also tried exiting FIrefox, deleting the xulstore.json file, and restarting. This had no effect.

I'm on a 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro Firefox 117.0.1 Mac OS 13.5.2 (22G91)

Any ideas? This is a weird one.

Thanks!
