Our printers are added from a print server. FireFox is showing the full printer server path as the printer name. This is not good. Why is this happening? I have tried clearing the printer settings and re-adding the printers but this did not fix the issue.

We have a webapp, while accessing this application in Chrome/Edge browsers, it doesn't prompt the user to enter login credentials. But the same application while accessing in Firefox, it prompts the user to enter login credentials. How can I disable the login prompt for Firefox and make firefox to use the windows authentication( How to allow NTLM/Windows Authentication in Firefox )

In the past, when I wanted to save a bookmark I could choose a specific folder to save it to. So for example, if I found a newsource that I wanted to bookmark to my News folder I would click on Bookmarks, Bookmark Current Tab and a dialogue box popped up that allowed me to choose the folder to save the bookmark to. This dialogue box no longer opens when I click on Bookmark Current Tab. Instead, all bookmarks are automatically saved to my Other Bookmarks folder and I have to drag them to the folder I want. I'm not exactly sure if this change happened with a Firefox update, or if I did something to change the process. Is there a way that I can fix this and have the choose a folder dialogue box pop up when I save a folder? Thanks for your help, Jeff

Dear Sir/Madam I have recently started purchased an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. In order to purchase apps and games for my headset I want to use my PC so I can peruse the software available in the Oculus Quest store However when using the Firefox browser I find that when I link to the Oculus store I end up with a constantly rotating wheel and cannot access the apps/gamessection of the store (Now known as METAQUEST) However when I use the MICROSOFT EDGE browser the Oculus website works perfectly This disappointing as I much prefer to use FIREFOX Could you advise if there is a setting within Firefox which may help or could you comment on why Microsoft Edge works but Firefox does'nt Thank you Regards and best wishes Edward

In Firefox I set my download settings to "Always ask you where to save file", and for most of the websites that still works. Unfortunately, since a recent update, gmail does not do that anymore. It gets immediately saved in my downloads folder without any prompt of where to save it. Any solution how to fix this? Thanks!

Only Firefox Browser 100.0.1 (64-bit) and (32-bit) won't respond to HTML <audio> Tag in a webpage. I have 4 computers (tower, laptops and tablet) using Windows 7 or Windows 10 though Firefox won't play <audio> tag sounds on any of them. All computers are also running Chrome (Version 101.0.4951.67 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and Internet Explorer (Ver: 20H2 OS Build 19042.1706) and those browsers play the <audio> Tag just fine. Note: videos from YouTube play video & audio as well as .mp3 files just fine in Firefox. Volume Mixer for Firefox is set to 50%, no mute. All other applications in Volume Mixer are set the same. I also deleted browsing history, cookies, Cash, Forms, Offline website data & search history as well as Site settings. Range to clear 'Today'. And, Firefox still won't respond to the <audio> tag. Also, restarted the computer and uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it, no change. w3schools.com indicates Firefox first supported the <audio> tag in version 3.5. Google Chrome is closed and ive checked task manager to make sure that its not open in the background.

I choose my main account from google chrome and choose to import passwords and bookmarks and it says that it successfully imported it but my passwords and bookmarks are not showing up on mozilla.

whenever I try to use a theme that defaulted to dark mode in the previous update, it defaults to light mode instead. for some websites this means that it displays in bright white. i need dark mode. even when i set the toolbar colour (which previously controlled dark/light in Firefox Colour) to black it's on light mode. how do I get dark mode back, i hate this. this theme (picture attached) used to be dark mode but now it defaults to light. how do i get dark mode back.

Firefox does not play well with how you customize keyboard shortcuts on Mac i.e. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.

By default - Move Cursor to Address Bar - Cmd+L Bookmark this Page - Cmd+D

I would like to switch these two shortcuts but there does not seem to be any way. Please help me out.

I have recently registered with Firefox after having used it for a long time. I now find that the password that I thought I had used is not recognised. I am currently logged in. Is there a way of viewing my password in my account details? I do not want to change the password as I am unsure what I will lose from my history etc

Fire Fox no longer appears on the menu bar. I have to go to programs and open it each time I want to use Fire Fox. It will appear on the menu bar as long as I have it open but leaves the bar if I close it.

Since the last update videos will no longer play correctly. The video starts and I can hear the audio but I see no video. The content is there. If I hover over the playing time bar at the bottom of the video I can see stills of what would be that part of the video but no video as it plays. Same thing happens in You tube.

I'd like more information about what the message appearing at the top of the settings screen is telling me. The message is "Your browser is being managed by your organization." I am a stand alone personal user and not a part of an organization.

Firefox 100.0 Ubuntu 22.04 Mozilla VPN 2.8.0

As the title says, Multi-Account containers doesn't detect the VPN, which means that it's not setting the VPN for specific containers.

I suspect this is actually a problem with the "Allow extension to exchange messages with programs other than Firefox" permission. Could be a VPN issue, but gut feeling that it's a Firefox issue, TBH

Anyone else seeing this?

Why I can't I see this? or where can I find it?

Various Fire Fox sources say I need to set up an Firefox Syn account and that I can make a selection to do this in Firefox preferences. However this is no option for this available. There is a single option labeled sync but it doe does not synchronize my laptop to my account and none of my bookmarks etc are up to date.
