For about 24hr now, every time I clear cookies and cache data, 20kB remain. I clear this data often, and the cookie and cache data always registers "0kB" after I click on "Clear Data", until yesterday. My OS is Ubuntu 22.04. Where can I find that file so I can delete it?

This is a silly one, probably.

My refresh button has mysteriously disappeared from my browser toolbar. I can just use cmd+shift+r to refresh, but muscle memory keeps looking for the button on screen too, and it would be nice to have it back!

I opened up the customize options, thinking maybe I just removed it by accident, but refresh doesn't appear to be an option?

I also opened it up in troubleshoot mode to see if that would change anything. It did not :(

I also don't have any extensions that mess with the toolbar, so I don't think that would be an issue (and troubleshoot mode should have disabled extensions anyway I think.)

I recently updated to 126.0.1 - no idea if that has anything to do with it, but this did happen right after the update.

There are a couple more people on here with the same question, and they all had easy solutions. I'm hoping I'm just not seeing a setting somewhere.

On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.

For months, Firefox will not load pages, like for google for instance. I will press Enter to load the page and it just won't do anything. Sometimes quitting and restarting fixes the issue, sometimes it doesn't. It isn't my internet, as I often have to open Safari to load the page instead, which always works.

I just did a refresh of Firefox, but the issue persists. It's getting to the point of potentially switching browsers. It's frustrating to have to switch browsers if I need a page to load.

Hi, having an issue where new tabs crash while browsing.

Will be fine for 30 minutes or so but opening a new tab/clicking on a bookmark leads to Gah. Your tab just crashed.

Using a working tab is OK as long as I stay on the same site.

All drivers are updated.

Once it happens, I close my browser and I am then fine for a while.

Removed all themes/add-ons in case of conflict but still same issue so re-added.

Any advice appreciated.

Due to one of your recent upgrades I can no longer stay logged into regularly used penned sites that I do NOT log out of when I close the Firefox browser. For years I never had to do this. Now I am.

Why doesn't the Bookmarks toolbar go directly to my Bookmarks? When I click on Bookmarks on the menu bar, I then have to click on Bookmarks Toolbar folder to display them. That REALLY SUCKS! Why can't you leave anything alone? You make things worse, not better. What used to be one click is now two. Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

ok what im having issues with is is kixeye.com.... instead of this site it keeps going to https://m.kixeye.com/. instead of www.kixeye.com. there is no option to change it to the desktop site like when im on my phone

any help rectifying this would be a great help

When I try to access Developer Community from Visual Studio 2022 ('Send feedback' 'report a problem') the banner displays with selection items but no content is displayed. This has been a problem for several months (years maybe). I now have a problem that I cannot solve and I need to report it and I cannot if content is not displayed.

I've been using a Rewards site regularly (3/4 times per month) for several years without problem. This weekend the attached pop-up appeared. It makes no difference whether I select Resend or Cancel, the program just re-displays the pop-up trapping me in an endless loop. The only exit is to close the window and abort the process. I was able to complete the task without any problem using Edge instead so it appears to be a Firefox specific issue. I haven't consciously changed anything since last using the site successfully on 24 May. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

In my settings under Connected Services there is a list of devices that have signed into my firefox account. I do not recognize one of them. The Connected Service listed name is Firefox Mobile 126, Android 14. How can I find out where this is coming from?

Every time I enable Light theme for taskbar it becomes disabled & reverts back to Dark Theme. This is not great for my eyesight. Why does Firefox force dark theme?

The website mylotto.co.nz has been blocking Firefox for many months now and when I rang them to find out what the problem is they just say they are having problems but it was obvious that the person there was reading a script and fobbing me off. This has been going for many months now a problem would have been fixed by now. I would like to know if you can bring pressure to bear on them to get reinstated again. Hello, Since a couple of weeks I'm facing a strange issue on my Firefox installed on my desktop (arch linux) where the suggestions window that appears when clicking the URL address bar, is shifted upwards and covers the address bar itself and the majority of the bookmarks. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and is able to point me towards some troubleshooting steps? Thanks!

After 10:00 p.m. I cannot get into or use the inter net. I do have an account with you and I thought I could use it at any time to get in to the inter net with security.This started happening about two weeks. How can this problem by solved.

I'm on Windows 11 Pro 23H2. This is a pristine installation, downloaded from mozilla.org, default settings, no add-ons. - Firefox 126.0.1. - There are no cookies, history or cache to clean, since it's a fresh installation. - Connection settings is set default to "Use system proxy settings", although I've also tried setting it up to "No proxy", then restarting Firefox completely, then trying again with a new domain. No change. - DNS over HTTPS is set default to "Default protection". I've also set it to "Off", then restarting Firefox completely, then trying again with a new domain. No change.

I don't what else to try and I don't know what's wrong with Mozilla Firefox.

Can you help?
