I vaguely remember something about installing Chrome extensions in Firefox. I found a Chrome extension that I'd like to install? Exactly how do you do it? (I can't find anything in Firefox Help.)

Two days ago I tried to log into my Facebook account of several years and was told my email address was not connected to the account. Having tried every which way possible to log in I simply cannot . Now I am being treated like a criminal by Facebook. Their website suggests I contact my emil provider hence this mail.

Firefox continues to indicate I am using Windows 8. I have NEVER used Windows 8 in my liftetime. I use Windows 10 and after locating the program compatibility location to change to Windows 10, Windows 10 isn't an option. I changed my OS to 10 in your box below. Why? I don't understand this.

I installed Evernote Webclipper on Firefox on my Macbook Air, but the icon/tool does not display so is not usable. I used the "customize toolbar" info to drag the extension icon to the toolbar. Clicking on that put me back on the add-ons page, did not open the extension. I restarted, restored defaults, removed and re-installed Evernote still no go. VERY frustrated. Any ideas from anyone welcome. Thanks.

My Firefox has been infected with MyNewTab. All attempts to remove it with various malware-removing software have failed. It does not appear in any list of installed software. I have found that I can only stop it from interferring with firefox by uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it - without syncing. So I am now trying to reinstatre Firefox to more or less how it was before.

The only real issue is that before it had an add-on - Norton Safe Web - which is not added now. I tried uninstalling Norton 360 and reinstalling it in the hope it would get the addon added. It didn't. But according to what I read it is very easy to add an add-on. I can select it from the list of add-ons, thus displaying a page all about it. According to help notes, you just click to add-on this choicre. But I can see nowhere to click to do it. I've been over that page time after time but see no way of progressing.

I can click on comments / Typewriter then type something on a PDF. But as soon as I click elsewhere, the typed comment disappears. I've tried saving but that makes no difference. If I click again in the same spot, a text box appears with what I've typed appearing underneath. But that's no use if it doesn't appear on the page!

Just installed Firefox my laptop, but when I try to change my search engine to google I only have Bing and DuckDuckGo as my options. No other search engines appear.

The hotkey for add-on "600% sound volume" has been broken since the last version of 103. (now 105.0 still not fixed) The hotkey is "Ctrl+Shift+v", which opens the pop-up window of the add-on, and then it allows using arrow key and number to tweak the volume bar. Now all hotkey not working. The arrow keys do not work even if you manually open the pop-up window.

After several years using Firefox my log in to GMail ceased to work. The address shown (https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?pli=1) when I tried to log in produced no response whatsoever. Other websites loaded normally.

I tried Chrome instead and logged in successfully. I have restarted my computer but the problem remains.

Disable floating video permanently -- how?

I never watch floating video and it is in the way when I try to read article. Very annoying and distracting. It is useless for me because I cannot hear. I need my eyes to read. How to disable it permanently? Thank you!

I don't know what this is, what it's called, or why the someone in your UI/UX team continues to think that it's a good idea to change the keyboard navigation in the browser with all these new, special, or whatever controls that are ultimately useless.

How do I turn this off?
