I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

In order to add photos to Shutterfly from google photos on Firefox, which is what Shutterfly likes, I have to enable 3rd party cookies.

I have been trying and googling and searching support for some time now. The google instructions do not come close to matching what is on the commuter. The "support" instructions are in technical computer language which I don't get.

So, please help me, but pretend you are explaining to your grandma (I may not be yours, but I am a grandma to 4 grandkids) and she's never used a computer before (I have, but I'm sick of wading through technical answers that don't match the computer and don't work).

I think the section Privacy and Security may have been hacked. First, the settings Ask to save logins and passwords for websites was turned off effectively turning off auto fill then Proxy was turned on. I didn't make either of those settings. Also, metro PCS website has been blocked. Error message says This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. I did not make any changes to cause cookies to be refused or disabled and had been on that site a couple days prior. I'm thinking this has to be a hack because my Chewy account was hacked, ID changed, login pop up to sign in was changed and 2 orders were made. I reported it to PayPal and contacted Chewy and got the orders canceled and account closed only to get a notice the next day that the account was reopened. I almost had to have them list me as having to contact them by phone or chat to open an account in order to close all accounts and make sure no more accounts were opened in my name. I will be contact Metro PCS also because other numbers on my account have been hacked or have had problems. I'm trying to catch this thing on all sides. If possible, if there is a way to see if someone else accessed my account it would be appreciated. I connect to my account on laptop only at home 1 location and on my phone. I think the number is on file.

I want to switch off (cancel) password save for one website. I have followed the recommended procedure and re-started Firefox, but it still saves the password after I do that. This is one set of instructions I tried following, without success:

Hello. We are using Firefox on our work computers and seeing issues with font rendering. Some sites have fonts that don't render well and are indistinguishable from the background. We are seeing this issue in Firefox on more than one computer, more than one operating system, and more than one website.

For all machines that we have tested, switching to Edge allows us to see the fonts and they seem to render properly. I'm not sure what is going on but some of these sites are important to our daily work and we have to use them.

Starting today, I went to download a .pdf file to open automatically with Adobe Acrobat as I usually do. However, this time I got a pop-up from Microsoft Word stating, "Word will now convert your PDF to an editable Word document. This may take a while. The resulting Word document will be optimized to allow you to edit the text, so it might not look exactly like the original PDF, especially if the original file contained lots of graphics."

I went to Settings - General - Applications, went down Contents list to Portable Document Format (PDF), and tried the various settings under the Action column, to include "Save File," "Always Ask," "Use Acrobat Adobe 2020." None of these worked or made any difference. I open numerous .pdf files every day and I need to be able to just click on them in the website and have them open in my Adobe Acrobat program - as they have up until today. What do I have to do to fix this? I am using Version 102.0.1 (64-bit).

I am having one problem with Firefox. Other than this, it is working splendidly. Thank you. I work with an online donation management software application called: eTapestry. I am on it all day, for 17 years, it's my job. The login page does not fully load. This started yesterday, Monday, July 11th. I was able to find a work around yesterday, but this work around doesn't work today. The completely loaded page should look like the enclosed image: Sign-In-1.png with the blue 'Sign In' button being the active link to sign into the program. However, what I get is shown in image: Sign-In-2.png where there is a revolving circle of dots. Normally the revolving circle of dots would be just a blip of a second before the blue 'Sign In' button appeared. What do I do? Is this a result of the 102.0.1 upgrade? Thank you.

I have a fresh install of Firefox 102. It keeps asking me to save passwords every time I visit a site, and I hit okay. I come back to the site FF asks again, problem is FF is not saving anything. I have searched for a cure, but nothing has worked. I am at wits end. I have everything in settings set to save passwords. I am not in a private browsing window. My history does get saved, just not my passwords. Thank You all for helping in advance!

Not able to recover my yahoo account that has been in use for over 10 years! Very sensitive files and emails are locked in there, mostly Patients records!! Yahoo wants driver license and credit card # first to solve the problem. I have tried everything. It used to be easy to recuperate a forgotten Password or user name to sign in. Is this legal what they are doing? They say one can get help free on line, but they always use---Invalid entrance and direct you again to this paid service only if you give them driverlicense and credit Card. Is there a way to get some help? Please!!!

Hello, I have a bothersome problem. Firefox does not remember my device, so every time I turn on the browser I have to log in again to all websites and services - e-mail, social networks, banks, etc. Logins and passwords are saved, but I am not logged in automatically to the websites from the moment I open the browser, as it was before. Nothing helped - cleaning cookies, reinstalling the browser, cleaning the computer. Please help. I like firefox but I'm pissed off already. I am considering changing to a different browser.

on a web page like, Regal Cinemas, the seating chart does not appear. I can move the mouse pointer to where a seat should be, but seat does not appear. Also on other web pages the mouse will show something is there but I am unable to see what the mouse sees. Mouse pointer turns from pointer to finger stating something is there. Why can i not set history to delete after 30 days? It appears the only option is an add-on which Firefox warns might not be safe. This is a security issue and Firefox is supposed to be good for security, but I can find no setting that will allow me to clear page history older than X days (30 days is my company document control policy). Even IE has this feature.

Avast Secure Browser imposes itself by opening on start up despite my attempts to stop it doing so. AND despite Firefox being my default browser for over ten years and long before I started using Avast free antivirus. Avast has loaded it on , I never elected to do so ...but that said I do not wish to totally remove it from my lap top as it is, as it were, an insurance policy against Firefox becoming inoperable. I have explored switching off this attribute of avast browser in the browser but to date have been unsuccessful. As a retired man in my seventies I am limited in my peer group for finding anyone that is computer literate YET this technology is so beneficial to people such as myself I believe.
