I've recently had a little video window appear in the bottom right corner of my browser screen. I can't find any control link to eliminate it other than closing it manually every time it appears. Where did it come from and how do I get rid of it?

When searching with google it always opens a new Tab with some not working Address. Whether i just search or click on pictures or look at a picture more in detail it always opens this tab: Look at picture: At this point it is really annoying and in the settings of the browser i don't seem to find a solution. Please help.

Every time I open a new tab, another extra tab opens automatically with the following address: https://0.0.0.1/

showing this message: An error occurred during a connection to 0.0.0.1.

I already re-installed Firefox but this bug keems popping up.

BTW: I did not do a d*** thing. It just started yesterday and is extremely annoying!

A couple of months ago, I suddenly lost all my saved bookmarks, plus the ones on my toolbar. Strange thing is, all the folders and sub-folders I created are still there, they're just all empty.

Can I get them back somehow? I've been collecting them for years so can't replace them all!

I use the Rapport Add-on to protect my personal info especially when doing on-line banking at the moment I have to use Chrome but I would rather stay with Firefox but you dont have this extension why?

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. I am trying to log on to my account at SketchUp. At the login page i hit get started and a black page come up except in the top left corner is typed "Firefox not responding" the page hangs a few moments then it takes me back to SketchUp login. I have not had any recent updates done or required since last logged in and that was yesterday all worked well.

For years, I have used print to pdf in Firefox to generate pdf files of long web pages. It always worked. But lately, I noticed that huge numbers of blank pages are inserted in the pdf file, seemingly at random. I looked at the HTML source, and could not see anything that obviously triggers the blank pages. For example, a web page that ought to print to about 35 pages generates a file of more than 600 pages, with most of them blank.

I can use Microsoft Edge as an alternative, but pdf files from that browser strip out all the color, and are nevertheless super huge, about ten times larger than the ones from Firefox. E.g. the file mentioned above, about 35 pages, would be about 1.3 MB from firefox, and 12 MB from Edge. So getting the file from Firefox would be nice.

Is there a reason why print to pdf is behaving in this strange way, and anything I can do about it?

I've just noticed a "Tree Of Tabs" option. I right-clicked a dozen tabs, hit Bookmark This Tree. The webpages disappeared. Now I can't find them, and they're not listed anywhere in history or recently closed tabs.

Hello guys, so in the past 2-3 days i started facing Cross-Origin Request Blocked for a lot of websites lets take chatgpt for example, if i visit it i get:

and its getting so annoying that its blocking a lot of websites, i tried chromium it works fine and works awesomely no cors no problems. I even tried to disable the firefox protection, dns over https on/off, change my main dns upstream, installed firefox developer, compete uninstall/reinstall, cache clear from installers and from firefox it self nothing is working. I will provide firefox developer edition troubleshooting information but keep in mind it doesnt work on both firefox normal and developer

Please any help would be appreciate it.

Firefox detects files downloaded from it as potentially dangerous after the last update. Is there a way to prevent files from this website from being detected as potentially dangerous?

Hi, I'm hoping to find some help to address crashing that has been happening frequently. The most recent crash has a report ID: bp-47617fc8-55f9-4d32-8713-a4ce40240426 and this happened while in 'troubleshoot' mode.

looks like a problem with Firefox as no problem when using a different browser e.g. Opera. Also cannot log onto Nextdoor.co.uk using Facebook to log on. Again works fine on Opera

Every one has not been updated for 6-7 years. I don't see any release notes. Is this some sort of qualifying re-certification procerss?

After the last update my primary password prompt box is outlined in red. It was never outlined in red before the update. I cannot find any information for this issue. Anyone else experiencing this anomaly (at least it appears to be one since no one has reported it). Thanks

I am using Ubuntu 23.10.1 with KDE Plasma desktop environment. Since recently I've been experiencing the following problem with Firfox document viewer: after a period of inactivity, PDFs become unreadable, and seem to cumulate everything that was displayed on screen (see screenshot). Ctrl + F5 does not help, and neither does closing the window and opening a new one with a link to the file. KDE Document Viewer displays the same file correctly.

Outlook is not working properly in Firefox. Works fine in other browsers but I prefer Firefox. It is only showing the first 20 or so e-mails, will not show e-mails in any other box, i.e sent etc.

We have used Firefox for access to certain sites for years. Recently, we wanted access to particular sites, but the info boxes needed would now not allow entries. Then, we went to Chrome and there was no problem entering the info. Please provide a response to resolve these issues of Firefox not allowing data entry, but Chrome allowing data entry for the same sites.

I recently purchased a new Mac Book Pro. After migrating my data from my old one I noticed that when using Firefox my Facebook account was not working properly. I no longer could access my own page or the pages of friends. However, I could access some group accounts I'm associated with. On Safari, everything works fine. I suspect something must have been compromised during the data migration.

I deleted the Firefox app from my new computer and then reinstalled it but to no avail. When I'm in Facebook and try to access my page I get an error message. My OS system to up to date and apparently my Firefox is up to date as well. Any suggestions? Thanks!
