My Firefox settings are configured to "Open previous windows and tabs" on Startup. This worked fine until this morning, when I lost all of the tabs in my session, including the pinned ones. The last time I closed Firefox, there was only one window open.

I have already tried these ideas to restore the tabs:

• CTRL+SHIFT+T: Does nothing
• CTRL+SHIFT+N: Does nothing
• Three bar menu -> History -> Recently closed tabs: The list is empty
• Three bar menu -> History -> Recently closed windows: The option is greyed out
• Three bar menu -> History -> Restore previous session: The option does not exist in the menu
• Open user profile folder and open sessionstore-backups folder: There are three files named "previous.jsonlz4", "recovery.baklz4" and "recovery.baklz4". They are each 2KB and contain only an empty tab with the URL "about:home". There are three additional files starting with "upgrade" but they are from too long ago, so they don't contain the tabs I require.

The contents of these tabs are vitally important for my work, so this is causing me significant stress. If anyone can suggest ways to recover my previous tab beyond the documented fixes, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much to anyone who can help!

For a few weeks now, FIrefox will not play DRM content video on this computer. I have tried all the suggested solutions and none have worked. Also, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the problem remains. I am very frustrated with this problem and am ready to get rid of Firefox permanently on ALL our computers unless this can be fixed.

When running Thunderbird in Dark Mode, the message pane (that shows the message when you select it from your inbox) still has a white background. This makes perfect sense, because a dark background can easily mess up HTML mails.

Which I know because the compose / reply window does have a dark background, making it all but impossible to read what you're replying to if it was a HTML mail.

I would like to set the view and reply window to use the same background. Can this be achieved or is this a bug?

After the last couple of Thunderbird updates, I have been experiencing a really frustrating issue that I can't seem to resolve.

Only when I receive emails from one specific recipient and I go to reply to them, the font size is suddenly really large, and the spacing between new lines is huge.

Even if I set the font options to the same as if I was replying to a different recipient or creating a new message, it still appears really large.

What's worse is even if I make all these adjustments and get the font size and formatting looking okay, the actual sent message is even more out of whack and has all these spacing problems.

Does anyone know what might be going on? No other mail client I use experiences this issue whatsoever, and this issue is only occuring with this recipient.

Enabling my incoming emails. This has been failing for weeks. I reset my account with thunderbird and made a donation (thinking that was the problem) but I am still not receiving incoming emails. Tried and checked all my account settings - cannot find what the problem is. Please help.

Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? For some reason, my Thunderbird recently "updated" to version 115.10.2, and the "About Thunderbird" dialog says that it is on the "esr update channel." I can find no information about the esr channel. However, when I start Thunderbird, it displays the "Welcome to Thunderbird DAILY" screen. Am I correct that this is an error? If I were really on the daily channel, I think that the version number should be higher.

For System Administrative reasons, I want to disable automatic Firefox updates. Firefox can ask me if I want to install an update, but I get to choose whether or not to update.

This started a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been because I synced the passwords with other devices. I reverted it back.

When in about:logins, I click on the log in button but nothing happens.

Running 115.5.0 and want to export my contact list to be able to use it in a spreadsheet. The export function in the Tools dropdown only allows for export of "accounts, messages, address books and settings to a ZIP file." What happened to the ability to export just the address book separately to a csv file? Please help. Thank you.

Firefox decided to remove the total amount of homepage shortcuts. For months, it allowed for 4 rows and 8 columns, with blank "Add Shortcut" shortcuts. This allowed me to organize or split my shortcuts better. This morning, it decided to move all shortcuts together. As per the "Before" and "After" screenshots attached.

Usual disclaimers: Firefox 125.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 No Config edits No extensions currently installed manipulate, affect or otherwise influence shortcuts

i am setting up a new laptop and trying to import all my current data from my old pc. Nothing is right. It imported alll the shortcuts on my toolbar from years ago. None of these are the current bookmarks from my old pc. ive tried syncing, importing again, nothing works. my bookmarks on my side bar are years old. I dont have ANY of these on my old pc as i deleted them years ago. what the heck is happening and how do i get my new pc browser to look exactly as my old pc looks. This is very frustrating. I have over 500 bookmarks on my sidebar. it looks like every bookmark i have EVER used. This is ridiculous.

i’m trying to open blackboard.com but it keeps telling me ( Did not Connect: Potential Security Issue ) some youtube guides say that you can modify the enterprise security roots from *false* to *true* and it will work, but is it safe to do that? and is there any solution the problem?.

I have been using T-bird as my email client for years. Just now, a new screen pops up with this message: "an error occurred during connection to localhost". I have 2 email accounts that I use with T-bird. The one is with comcast; it is the account that comes up with the error message. The other account is with Breezeline, and it appears to be unaffected. However, and this is the problem, I cannot send or receive email from either account. I am going to try to send both a hard copy of the error message, and the data from the T-bird program that I am using. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

You're asking me to go to the menu and choose: syncronice and save! Well there ain't no 'sync and save' point in my menu! Not even 'syncronice'! I need correct direction in order to 'sync' my PC and my phone! Please help! Thank you and have a nice day!

Dear sir, madam, I have a Thunderbird account. I have access to it and to the menu, but I have to put a password in to receive my new emails. I don't know my password and have tried really everything that is suggested on your website to get my password, renew it, access a reboot-option etc: nothing works - I still keep getting a window where I am asked to put in the password for my account.
