Recently I´ve encountered problems with (mostly) accessing nba.com. I don´t get the resultbar. Today klicking on one of the menue items (Schedule) Firefix refused to load the page claiming "Not safe". As you can see I´ve accessed the page a number of times. /Leif Arvidsson

I have been having with YouTube for a couple of days. It asks to turn off ad blockers. I have done so and it still requests to turn ad blockers and still won't allow viewing. YouTube works on other browsers.

I am sure YouTube is playing games but can you help?

I just get a blank page upon attempting to enter the site, but with no content. Grateful if someone could advise.

Ever since I loaded 120.0.1 (64 bit) I have had problems accessing numerous sites. For example, https//HOn30.org. FIrst I get several "Having trouble ..." messages, and when it does come up it's a blank screen. I have had this happen wtih Library of Congree, eBay, and most sites from linking within another web site. I have tried playing with the "HTTPS mode" and the "DNS over HTTPS" to no avail. What changed with this version and how do I fix it. Hello! I need some help. Every since 4-6 months ago, Firefox has been extremely slow when I boot it up at first, with some page load times taking more than 10 minutes. Some fixes have seemed to work, but they never work permanently. From my testing, it is not the result of any extension and the issue persists in troubleshoot mode. What has not helped my testing is that, after enough restarts of Firefox, the problem goes away and web pages load quickly, so this has caused some false positives. Has anyone else had a similar problem they were able to fix? Should I try uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it?

I had several windows open each with different tabs in them.

I shut down them down and switched off my Mac.

On restarting my Mac, one of the windows had disappeared from the restore session. I've checked my History but the tabs don't appear there.

I'm using the latest version of FF on a Mac Air M2

Please advise.

I have tried troubleshooting mode and a clean profile with no addons.

At least on YouTube, I've noticed this issue for several months.

Hi:

  I do genealogy and often have 20 or more WINDOWS (not tabs) open simultaneously.  I also rapidly type, copy/paste, between windows, etc. and can instantly detect slowdowns - especially irksome when the mouse disappears for seconds while the system is working.  I keep history and cookies...reminds me of pages I've already looked at when color change is enabled.
  After crashing a hard drive, I finally realized that Firefox was accessing the disk WAY too much.  Even with the system static (no page changes or updates), it was continually writing to disk.  Occasionally, it would take over the disk system for seconds.  Over time (years), as you guys improved, it became less significant; just broken up into lots and lots of small accesses.  Researched quite a bit...

  Started with increasing the sessionstore interval, but still was an issue.

To solve MOST of the problem, I saw a help note. I created and set to FALSE

browser.sessionstore.enabled

Plus modified several other sessionstore items This helped a lot...

   BUT this did NOT regulate sqlite storage for third-party stuff.

This is probably handled and hidden under another config section/ keyword (not called 'sessionstore', but '??thirdpartystore??' or what?) The following profile files are still handling a LOT of writes. I use Ancestry as example (the worst offender actually), but applies to other sites also.

.default-release\storage\default\https+++www.ancestry.com\ls\data.sqlite-journal ...
or occasionally
\https+++accounts.google.com ...

Just for these accesses, looking at 100k writes every second, like pulses. This is with only one window open and a static (no change) page. What changes on a genealogy page that requires updating every second = this is a list of dead people?? Finally, my question(s): What config sections and "keywords" handle these third party writes? Any clue/hint on how to eliminate?

You somehow have old, outdated information in your system. Your new browser requires me to log into a facebook account I closed 10 years ago. My password for my current account named, "VangiePangie", now opens a closed account named "Evangeline Custis". I no longer have access to my VangiePangie account with any password. So, I no longer want this new upgraded Firefox account. I want to have my old Firefox account as a default on my desktop. Right now it's an icon at the bottom of the screen, and I can only use it to open one thing at a time. Please give me back my old Firefox browser. I'll struggle with Facebook to get my password to work on my VangiePangie account. I have access to the VangiePangie account right now, because it was never logged out in my old Firefox browser and is in my Bookmarks. But if I am forced to log out, or if Facebook does a security check, I won't have access ever again. Please help me with this. Below is my VangiePangie Profile pic.

bold textMy emails will not download. Optimum or Comcast or the Geek Squad will not help with 3rd party users. I dont know how to get them to download. I am using a computer that is stationed in Florida, so it has not been used in 9 months.

I use Firefox for Mac. Often when I want to click on a link or complete an on-line form, a long list of unwanted suggestions pops up and orevents me doing this. Only by hitting Escape can I get control back.

By the way, I don't want any solution which involves clearing the cache, as I value that help.
