well, most ad provider let you customize your ad preference I can allow virtual realitity devices ads and "turn off" android apps or food delivery apps however, they will completely ignore those settings if they can't show me an ad for my prefered topics specifically, I live in a very backwater rural town, I've paid a good sum to ship my VR equipment from another state, so it would be nice to see some games I can buy from their store, but of course, because I live in a backwater town and they don't sell vr equipment nearby, they will attempt to show an ad for something I can but locally, and you guessed it, they show me ads for ifood and uber eats, despite me telling them to not show me ads for android apps or food delivery I don't mind the ads per say, but between a major annoyance and no annoyance at all, the choice is obvious and no, I don't want white-list websites on ublock, if I could, I would left all websites show ads, if they were actually interesting to me instead of random junk I can find on the app store

Getting error SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN on all my sites that are signed with a SSL Cert from my internal CA since updating past version 99

This appears to be a bug starting after Firefox version 99 on Windows because after i upgraded to Firefox version 100 i started getting this on all my SSL Certs from my CA and they worked fine prior to the update. Can anyone confirm if something changed after version 100 that is causing this?

Thank you.

I don't want to see a pop-up for this when I'm using the browser to print.(The first picture) I only need to use system dialog print. (The second picture) I've set print.tab_modal.enabled to false using the online method, but the pop-up window in the first picture is still there. (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1322516)

Is there any way to block the print pop-ups, or is there any shortcut key that can use system dialog print directly? My computer system is Win7(64 bit).

Firefox keeps logging me out of all of my accounts whenever my computer restarts. I saw other people have this problem and post the solution, which was to use custom settings for history and only clear cache and cookies. I tried that and the problem has still persisted for weeks. Is there any other fix for this problem?

More and more sites can no longer be accessed by Firefox. I work for Lowe's and it started with store site. Then other sites no longer could be reached. Now I cannot login in to my employee account. Always some message regarding incorrect protocol or certificate or some other security issue. None of these sites are bogus. I have tried all the suggestions given in support but it just keeps getting worse. I have used Firefox for years but will be forced to abandon it if I cannot find a solution soon. If you can help, please do.

What I am looking is for, how can I force firefox to buffer full video at once or is there any way to increase buffer size.

I first thought this issue was contained to a single website and was the fault of their IT, but I have begun to experience this issue on other websites, and it does not occur on other devices also using Firefox. It is difficult to explain given that I don't have any idea what is actually happening, but hopefully I can make it clear enough.

For some websites that require a username and password, I will correctly login and pass authentication but then I will be booted back to the initial login screen, almost like the login failed. I only know that it is technically a log out, not a failure, because I have briefly seen the URL change like I'm logging out. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox fresh multiple times on my Windows 11 laptop, but the same issue occurs consistently.

This happened when I was trying to login to the student portal for my university and when I was trying to login to my apartment's resident portal. Changing cookie settings or going into a private browser has not helped at all. I cannot tell if this is a bug with Firefox (maybe just on Windows 11?) or if there is some background setting that needs to be adjusted, but it is very frustrating. If this keeps happening, I would have to switch to a different browser, which would not be ideal.

Does anyone have any idea of steps that I could take for troubleshooting or any experience with similar issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am testing my website with Firefox, and came across a strange situation that i haven't found an answer to yet, and havent encountered in any other browser.

When I navigate through the website by clicking on links, the pages I visited are stored in cache and are always the ones to be loaded, even when going back to the same page VIA a link.

For example, on the homepage of the site there is a feed with the recent content updates, these content updates are pulled from the database, loading the page loads the last 20 items. Currently, the only way to see the updated page though is if i either click the refresh button, or if i do ctrl+r or any other manual refresh.

What is expected is that if I click on the link to go to the homepage, the home page will be loaded from the server, not from the cache, otherwise the pages are just not up to date.

This is happening with all of the pages, which means that if someone goes throught the website once, they will always see the same old data because none of the pages are pulled from the server after being viewed once. I find myself always having to refresh every page to see if there is an update, rather than just being able to go to that page by clicking on a link to it.

Is there any information on this or a way to fix this?

My HP Omen has 2 hard drives. Originally, Firefox was installed on the C: drive and working perfectly. In order to clear up space, I tried to use the Windows Move feature to move the program from the C: drive to the secondary (and larger) E: drive. Since then, Firefox won't work aside from opening a Firefox window. It will load no pages, settings, etc.

I've tried uninstalling Firefox from both the C: and E: drives. Searched for any remaining files and deleted them. Deleted Old Firefox Data folders. I've reinstalled Firefox, without the option of where to install it, but it still fails to work at all. I get an error message regarding a missing file, VCRUNTIME140_1.dll. I've searched for the file and it's NOT missing. It is in both the Firefox folder and the Windows/Systems32 folder.

I've searched for data in the Users folders that might relate to Firefox but NOTHING seems to work that will allow Firefox to work again. I've tried putting Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but it won't restart as it says it needs to. It just won't work!

If anyone can just tell me how to COMPLETELY remove Firefox from both hard drives so that I can just do a clean, new Firefox install, that would be preferable. I know how to import bookmarks from Chrome.

If anyone can offer some help for someone who isn't great with computers, I would greatly appreciate it. If you need any other information, please don't hesitate to ask.

Firefox 101.0.1 + extensions, Windows 11 22H2; both fully updated

Firefox has stopped saving the position of its window, looking to me like it is leaving space for my Windows taskbar but which is hidden.

Some online searching and I found that setting privacy.resistFingerprinting to false resolves the issue, but it is not a change I feel comfortable with and wonder if there is another solution. I have uBlock Origin installed so maybe I shouldn't be concerned.
