Being a decade user of Firefox I must say that I started to hate it because the last editions hide the choice for enabling or disabling javascript. The stupid comand "about:config" leads nowhere and all previous answers are absurd. Why Mozilla decided to hide the option " turn on / turn off" javascript? It turned a previously great navigator into a stupid user unfriendly useless software. I use the internet for over 40 years and Firefox has always been my favourite. What obscure financial reasons made developers decide to hide the simple option of earlier editions? Please put back the "on/off" option for javascript. Untill then I'll use Chrome.

One of the main reasons I switched to regular Firefox is because Chrome always let's Amazon's stupid "influencer" vids autoplay silently. Which burns through my phone's data.

The regular Firefox didn't allow them to autoplay.

I was hoping focus would not allow them to play, and stop the other ads from showing up.

But no, focus does a much worse job than regular Firefox. It doesn't stop anything else, and it allows the influencer vids to autoplay.

I had a simple use case, I had an (important) receipt I needed to save as pdf. Why isn't there/what happened to the save as pdf in firefox? I see there was a way to save as PDF before.

I'm pretty technical, I'd like an in depth answer if possible. Was there some library which couldn't compile on newer versions of android perhaps?

So does fire fox just not give a shit whether the app is usable? You've completly stripped.any ability to customize and disable useless "features" that maybe 5% of user want. Are you just trying to go out business? How about returning control to the user. How about reading the app feedback and actually responding to users instead of ignoring us.

I don't understand where to put the authentification code I receive on my phone. I have a yahoo and a gmail account. And then where do I find the code in turn to put on that screen?

It would be great to have the option to just create a random password on Phone and in Browser.

Firefox doesn't always recognize login screens and sometimes i just need a secure password in an external app. Just having a Button that could create a random password for u would be very useful

When typing in the browser, predictive text overwrites my typing, over & over. I've turned off every predictive text button I can find, but it keeps doing it. I have a Samsung Galaxy 10+. HELP!

I have a homepage set to only show Shortcuts (it appears some menus refer to these as Top Sites). After a recent update (100?), history items started to appear added at the end of the shortcuts list. Is this a bug? Is it possible to disable this?

Recently upgraded from Firefox Android version 99 to 100. I want my homepage to show only top sites (pinned sites) and nothing else. That can be arranged on version previous to 100. Firefox version 100 shows my previous history also. Setting do not make it clear how to show ONLY Pinned Sites. Or do the developer in their wisdom remove that option?

Is there a way to not open a new tab when i hit the home button? I hit the home button when i want to leave the page i am on. I don't want the other page left open in another tab.

I try using the pair feature but each time I scan, I get a page showing "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within the Firefox app" Even though I did pair from the Firefox app. I have tried multiple times, always the same issue. The installed Firefox icon does not take me to the Firefox homepage. The default language is unreadable(to me). Without the ability to access Firefox homepage, I cannot access Settings, which leaves me dead in the water. Ideally, I'd like to start from scratch. I don't want to give up on Firefox, but right now, I can't even refresh, let alone cancel outright. Please help. -Patrick Branin
